Joybaby - Phew i see you are really going through a rough patch! Our hearts and prayers are definately with you and little K! Kaelyn also has been sleeping through but the last few nights she has started dreaming in a big big was... waking up shouting lets see if i can remember... we have had "flowers" "Car" "spider" a few others but mostly "mommy" or "daddy" i guess it depends on the dream? hopefully it will settle in week or two? Good luck with the Job interviews!!!

Wow PM Gorgeous house!!!And Izzy looks so adorable! I wish K's hair would grow near as pretty as that! :-)

Robyn - Well done on the potty, hopefully it is the start of something... K has her days with the potty training... but i guess its the usual two steps forward 1 step back story with us... :-) then one day it will be like a light just turns on in her head and she is trained... Hope you are feeling better and FX that it isn't diabetes!!

baby K - Kaelyn is doing great has almost made a full recovery... you can still see it when she is angry or crying but most of the time you wouldn't even know :-) DH is better as for me after taking serious antibiotics four weeks ago i was back at the doc on friday coughing so hard i could barely breath... laryngitus this time ARGH... but the doc didn't want to give me more antibiotics so soon after the terribly strong ones i had already had... so she booked me off and gave me a vit b injection. Feeling much better now

ASM - not that i have had it confirmed or even P'd on a stick, but i am oficially 3 days late so it looks promising!! :-)

Hi Ladies
Hope you all had a nice weekend
I'd been feeling abut off since last week and went to the Dr on Wed - was booked
off work til today with Bronchitis & Sinusitis! so was on antibiotics & cortisone
Had to go for my iron & rhesus blood test yesterday, plus dr found glucose in my urine
so will need to keep an eye on that in case it's gestational diabetes

On a positive note - D started playschool yesterday
She did so well - no tears and anything (at least not from her!!! )
She's the youngest & smallest in the school, so at first she just watched all the other
kids run around (DH & I stayed from 08h00-09h00) and when it was time for us to leave,
she gave us each a big hug & kiss goodbye, went into her classroom and sat down :P
And when I picked her up, she was sitting in the sandpit, completely covered in sand with
another little girl & boy - and she did not want to come home!
Anyway, she's going to school on Mon, Wed, Fri and MIL on Tues, Thurs til the end of the year
and then she starts her proper pre-school 5 days a week from Jan

Oh and we're moving into the house next weekend!! Yikes, anyone know where I can get boxes???

Hi girls,

Another hectic week.

Flower, oi, I hear you on the party stuff. I had this awesome party planned in my head....but now as time is coming closer, I'm thinking to rather go low key.

But low-key isn't really my style, so we'll see how it pans out.

I still have saturday classes for A+..blegh. Hence i never get to see a shop!!!

Eistedfodd is also drawing closer, in which Abby is dancing no less than 8 dances  :S

Daddy bought Iz her own mini size hockey stick....cause she was forever playing with Grace's spare one. Now madam is a force to be reckoned with! My singing ballerina/hockey bokkie!

Hope you guys have an awesome weekend!

Hi ladies

Cols!!!!! Good to hear from you :) Really hope that you get good news at the dr and that the fertility treatment is working. Fx'd! Glad to hear that you had a good holiday - sounds divine.

Robyn - I am also very excited about the decor for Em's Room. I am doing the Robin Bird theme in pale pink and mint green. We have a spare room which I am going to use as her playroom for now. So hopefully her actual bedroom stays tidy and pretty :) I have gotten quite a few things already so just need to see now how it will all tie together. Went to buy the paint for her walls on Monday and it is such a pretty, soft pink - I love it! My brother and I are also painting a birdy canvas for her, so really excited to see how that turns out :woohoo:

Em's potty training still going really well. She is also still waking up with a dry nappy after her afternoon naps as well as her nighttime sleep!! I am very chuffed with that! She does sometimes still have a sip of milk before bedtime, but she still manages to wait until morning to wee.

I am so behind on her party planning things as there is just way to much going on at the moment - I am struggling to focus. I have booked the entertainment, bought most of the decor stuff, sent out the invites and ordered the cake. Now I need to concentrate on the smaller things which are the things I need to do myself - like the stickers for the milkshakes, the party boxes and the baking. I have half-made the chocolate lollies. Just need to get them decorated and tie ribbons onto them. Getting there, but a bit slow for my liking. At least I have finalised my t-do list - big problem is that I handwrote it and took it home (now I dont know where it is) much help that is!!

How are your party plans coming along? Anyone else doing parties?

hi ladies
hope you all had a great weekend

@Cols - sounds like you had a wonderful holiday

@BabyK - D is like that with DH now - she always wants mommy rather
esp since DH has been so busy with the house etc so he hasn't been able
to spend much time with her recently. Now he knows what it's like as she
was like that with me earlier on, but is still like that when she goes to my
mom (but not at MIL  )

Looks like we're moving into the new house over the long weekend in Aug (think 10th)
Oh, and DH has given me free-reign to design the girls' new rooms
of course it does not mean no budget but at least I can do whatever I want
without getting his opinion first
McK's room will be pretty much the same as D's current room (as she is inheriting
all of D's things, so Butterflies with light pink & white)
I'm thinking of doing a Hello Kitty theme room for D - with cerise, light pink & white

Shame Robyn! It can really be stressful renovating at the best of times... Deep breaths hun - sometimes they can be @$$e$. they cant be perfect all the time... :) i know it'll pass. My sister got a script from her gynae for special heartburn meds. You need to be careful with heartburn if it's chronic it can cause damage... I lived on the gavascon liquid - totally disgusting but it really works!

Joybaby, I hear you on the inaccurate weight fluctuations on gynae scales. :( Maybe try some humus and tzatziki with your carrot sticks... it will help keep you full and improve the taste when it gets dull. Also, try the low GI breads / seed breads they keep you full for longer. Also yummy to have a salad sandwich. Evan's also picking up some afrikaans from his friends at school and our afrikaans friends. He says af instead of down.

Kerry, I think our hormones are very different after our 1st pregnancy. It's been a year for me. .. I am glad to hear K is improving.

Flowergirl, wow Evan is still learning to potty but he loves it when he gets it right :) I need to start finalising Evan's birthday. Unfortunately a lot of kids cant make it because it's close to the public holiday :( Good luck on the job application!!!

PM - WOW so long since we last saw you! Shame sounds like you've had a hectic time. Iz is looking so cute! The house looks AWESOME!

BabyK, it must be an age thing. Evan and I have been fighting so much :( Evan doesnt call me mommy anymore, he now calls me teacher. He calls Barry by his name now or daddy - i think he picked it up on holiday. Dont blame yourself, it has been a tough winter for everyone :(

We had an amazing time in lesotho. I actually learnt to ski :) We got loads of snow so it was awesome :) I feel so refreshed and relaxed :) Going to the gynae on monday again to scan to see if my ovaries have responded to the hormones I've had to inject myself with for a week :( fxfx
