Our little one is driving her Grandma insane... she won't play with her toys just wants to walk and crawl all the time... won't even lie still for you to do her nappy... so i now do it while she is standing... yep i stand her next to her crib... she holds on and i do the nappy... LOL must be a very interesting sight huh?

Ah well have an awesome day ladies!

Kerry, cute pic! Iz also got that dress!

Iz is almost crawling, we now at the leopard crawling/caterpillar stage. Her feet 'walks' up to her armpits, letting her bum almost flip over her head, and then she throws her arms forward. Seriously funny stuff

I don't know what was wrong during the night, she woke up about 5 time screaming her head off. I'm thinking maybe some long awaited toofies cut?

Abigail's braces came off yesterday. She looks so pretty now.

My mom is doing much better. I'm still cooking for the masses to make sure she doesn't strain herself.

Urgh you guys....I so desperately want to get rid of the pregnancy tummy, but just don't have the time to excercise.....so annoying!!!!!!!

Charnenay, congrats on the house. I also want a biiig house! I never wanted one. But the past week, I've become annoyed with not having a huge entertainment area for parties! I always have the headache of a venue for parties. And having 3 kids its a constant problem.

Cols, thats just off! I'd be less than polite the next time they'd want to take a pic of my kid.

Yaaawwwwnnnn, I'm tired. Niggly baby throughout the night and helping Abs with homework since 4am.....

Charnenay - yup I have never seen a single pic from my 21st, the best photos of my wedding have never been given to me and I actually had to download this off flicker. He put only 9 of the 100s of pics they took on Saturday :$ well done on the teeth - 8 already that is excellent! I know your stress with moving... we moved when Evan was 6 weeks old. I hated all the chaos with everything in boxes and being a mess. It did my head in I got absolutely no rest and Evan never slept at all so I was shattered. The good news is it does get better and you soon start to find your way. Our place is much bigger and we;re slowly building up furniture etc. We had to paint out the entire house and the previous owner let her dogs use the carpets as the toilet. I litterally washed the floors 5 times by machine and then twice by hand with bleach etc and I still kept freaking out that the floor was still dirty. We're going to be ripping them all up soon - thank goodness

Pink - Stunning Photo's! K also discovered the camera, every time you try take a pic she sees the camera and makes a b line for it! Glad to hear your mom is doing so much better, at least you are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Kaelyn's cot is a young world size, Its half a single bed... it will convert to a single when she is older, but at the moment spacious enough for all her night time whirl wind tea parties.

Robyn - Yep we put a panel heater into K's room this weekend too, it just got sooo cold so quickly! Good luck with the boot camp, we leave home at 5:30 to get little K to MIL's in time to still get to work by 7... its rather chilly at that time of the morning

BabyK - Glad you had a relaxing holiday

babyzee - Shame man, hope your little one is feeling much better now?

Girly - Congrats on the crawling! and am keeping fingers crossed that you find something soon. Maybe the awesome new haircut will help?

Cols - 12-18month clothes.... phew... my little nu nu only just fits into her 6-12 month stuff now! but she also dislikes the purity... she definitely seems to prefer mommys plate of food... at a push though she will eat the stage three lumpy purity. or for lunch i take the fruit ones and add them to yoghurt... she loves that... He looks so very very cute!

Charnenay - Glad the move went okay... it will take Emily a while to settle in, just be patient with her. Luckily K sleeps anywhere!

Wow... so very very much happened this last week i don't even know where to start...

Thursday night my parents wanted to baby sit the whole night, and they had been asking for a long time and seemed so keen hubby and i eventually gave in... it went well but it felt so strange to be home alone that i just couldn't sleep... lol

Then on easter sunday she started saying "Mama" whenever i walked away from her... Yaaayyyy it feels so very very good (after being called DADA for a month)

Umm next last friday we came in to my office as i had a stubborn client who demanded some reports (and i wouldn't let my colleagues do it) and she decided office hallways are excellend crawling grounds... she followed me to to the printer... tried to follow the messanger down the passage... crawled into the office next to mine... She gets some amazing speed when she spies something she wants! but still crawls with her two hands, one knee and the other foot.

Then she got clingy, and the runny nappies came one after the other, eventually hubby and i thought we better take her to the doctor in case it isn't teething but the doc had a look and nothing was up... three days later and i am proud to announce... K has toofie number 1!

and last she can now climb a step too... she saw our dogs food dish sitting in the kitchen (one step up from the lounge) so she made a plan to get to it... now you just cant stop her... if you go to the kitchen she hops up the step and follows you.... now we desperately need to teach her to safely come down the step.

Phew a real essay huh? oh and one last thing... you should hear her talk... its soooo cute! and she goes on and on and on... last night she and daddy were having a huge conversation... she eventually crawled right up to him and started screaming in laughter... it was so good... it made our weekend, really she can be a terror all she likes now.... lol ... as long as she charges our batteries back up with that.

oh and here she is at 8 months!

How u all been? Hopefully my life will be back to normal hectic now !

My mom is doing better every day. She still needs to take is very slow which is impossible for her to do....

Girly, you hair looks great! I also chopped my off, and it's so lekker. Actually thinking of going shorter, as mine is still half shoulder length. Congrats on the crawling!

Iz is doing the bunny hop crawl.....don't try and picture it!!!! I do not get how the child does it. She stands on all fours going back and forth and then kinda hops forward!!!!!!!! I want to hose myself everytime.

So my really interesting child decided 2 days before we went to Rustenburg that her campcot is too small for her, and her cot is too small.....she goes ballistic if she touches the sides. And she only allows 1 person on the queen size bed with her....when there's 3 she wakes up every 5 minutes. So to get some rest, DH slept on the couch most nights. Today we got her a 3/4 bed! I badly wanted one of those Cinderella beds, but they just as big as her cot, we measured. Iz's room is upstairs, and ours downstairs. Therefor I'm not ready for her to sleep in her own room yet.

Though it's Grace's birthday on the 2nd of June.....and the wants a Mexican party! Ideas???????

Let me go do some serious party planning....I got 3 to plan!
