Hey ladies - not going to do pics because my mind is too tired to think straight right now. But, I do want to say "WTF Cols, do they seriously refuse to give you copies of the photo's they have taken??? Why take photo's of you and your LO then??" thats a tad strange Beautiful pic of Evan though - glad they were at least nice enough to give you that one

We moved this weekend and it was HECTIC - I am still trying to recover!! The house was in such a state - I cannot believe that people can be so disgusting. I wish I had taken some before pics, but I wasn't thinking of that at the time - you should have seen the oven!!!!! We had to spray it with oven cleaner 5 times!!!!!!! Luckily, I had 3 cleaning ladies here with me, and I could get them to do it - it was beyond gross. I must say they did an AMAZING job though!!! It looks good as new - I can hughly recommend MR Muscle Cleaner now - if it could clean that mess, it can clean ANYTHING. Emily is struggling to settle in a bit the first night was chaos - she would not settle at all, she would dose off and then wake up screaming a few minutes later. At about 10:30ish, she started screaming like I have never seen her scream before - her eyes were closed, but she was screaming and the tears were running down her face. We tried everything, rocked her, put her in bed with us, walked up and down with her, bottle, dummy - NOTHING made her stop screaming - she screamed non-stop for almost 30 minutes then we eventually got dressed and went to drive around with her until she fell asleep!!!! She then slept from about 11:15 until 16:00 which was good considering. She did a bit better last night, so will see how it goes tonight. I was expecting this though because she refuses to sleep anywhere else at night. She will nap anywhere during the day, but at night she wants to be in her own room or she goes a bit nuts!!! Just hope she realises that this now is her new room. We even re-arranged her furniture again so that it looks exactly the way it looked in the apartment before

And, she has cut more teeth - there are now 8!!!!!

I took Evan to Delta park yesterday with the family. My sister took some gorgeous photos - lets hope they dont get held to ransom as usual... She never gives me the pics... Her husband rates himself as an arteest and refuses to give me all my pics. That even happended with my wedding photos...

Girly, I love the hair! Maybe a fresh change is what you needed? I love pep, cheap and easy especially with the rate our LOs are growing!

Evan is growing SO well! I've actually bought 12 - 18 months clothes because he's growing so fast He's off his purity. He wants real food.

He still only crawls backwards and runs in his walking ring. He actually crawled under the couch earlier - twice He directs himself and follows us around in the ring. He is getting SO cute

oh la la Girly you look like a movie star, nice cut. Nope Fayaz has no toofies yet i love him gums my LG only got teeth at 10 month the cool part is they came four at a time with no fever at all. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you get a job soonest. I am so proud of Kaylee she is just a super star.

My weekend is really nice and chilled, my nanny came in today i am planning to sleep in tomorrow mmmm pure bliss.

Robyn its like youre telling my story! Kaylee has also cut her 3rd tooth. The top right next to the middle one! And looks like shes starting to cut the canine next to it too!
Ditto on the walking ring. Its definitely her favourite thing to do!

AFU (As for Us) we've been on holiday, well DH has but it honestly doesnt feel like it. We really need to go away next time cos being at home is too busy. So hes back at work on Tuesday and still so busy the next 3 days so not too lekker.
Kaylee has had another blocked nose, 3rd one in the matter of 6 weeks. Doc says its probably from all the pipes in her nose after the op and her mucous walls will take some time to heal. But its really difficult on her and us. She's also pushing her incisor on top so the teething pain doesnt help. We've had some challenging days the last week.
But on a positive note, Kaylee has officially started crawling!!! So proud of our little girl! Its too cute how she puts her arms in front of her to move forward. She struggles on the tiles cos its more slippery but shes getting there! I must take a video soon!
We spent a small fortune on 6-9 month clothes last weekend - my mom gave us money. I honestly thought they would suffice for winter since shes still only 7.2kgs and they go up to 9kgs but seems I didnt consider her height. She's 69cm and the clothes just fit her, so we'll probably have to get some 6-12month stuff in a couple months time. Edgars sizing is obviously smaller? You girls must take a look at pep stores, they have the CUTEST outfits! Kaylee has the coolest jeggings, and a cute poncho and a nice red coat for those cold days. And pj's too which only cost R55!

On the job front its going very slowly despite my many many cv's and job applications sent through. Feeling a little dispondent as a friend of mine applied for ONE job right down the road from home and she got the job the same day as the interview. So after all my effort its a little sucky. But I guess its not my time yet. I would do anything for a job close to home it would give me so many extra hours at home a day. Plus not looking forward to getting up early again!
We're currently living out of our bond since February, which is basically our access bond and all our hard work from paying extra into the bond is going into this now.

Still need to lose weight - need to start eating right and going to gym again. I just have no will power & need some motivation (except of course the need for new clothes cos mine dont fit?)

I cut my hair yesterday, a very short style. Shortest I've had since I can ever recall. I must say I'm loving it so far. Will see how it looks when I have to style it myself though as my hair is quite curly when short. But I just couldnt deal with having to worry with drying my hair in the freezing winter mornings! So I just box dyed it now and must go rince it off. See you soon!

Hi Ladies,

Its been a while since i posted, i hope you all had a lovely Easter, i was on leave since last Friday and only got back to work today it was great to take a break and spend time with my babas.

The other week i had a really bad scare when we had to rush to the ER at midnight Fayaz was wheezing so badly he could hardly breathe it turns out he had croup he was nebulised like five times every hours we only left the hospital the next day to 4:30 p.m phew that was a close one, he is doing much better now, he is even playing. He lost alot of weight but he is till above normal.

Charnenay Fayaz holds his bottle well, he is now crawling its great to see him following his sister everywhere then he graps her as he wants to stand, she is always calling me poor girl.

Pinkmommy the pics are super cute, i prefer these ones to the one where they pose. Also why dont you try the department of Arts and culture for sponsorship, i would guess they would have funds set aside for sponsorships.

Ladies another long weekend on the way i cannot wait, yesterday i slept until 2p.m i was surprise but i felt so good after. Keep Well and give a big hugs to your littles ones from me.

Hello Mommies

Sorry I wasn't able to check in before we left for holiday and this is just a quick helllooooo while I check emails and things. We're having such a wonderful time at the coast - South Coast - Marina Beach. We're staying with 2 friends who are just so awesome and don't mind a child staying with them - they don't have kids but they have dogs.

John is having a ball - he had his first proper swim in the sea today and was sooo good. He was nervous and clung onto me but trusted me and started to enjoy himself. It was very cute. He is just being so cute and well behaved.

Hope everyone had a super Easter and enjoy spending all this time with family and friends.

PM - love the pics! John has a similar scrunched up face expression. I left the memory card converter at home so can't load up pics from my camera until next week but I'll load up one of him when we first put him on the beach - scrunched up face - not impressed... hehe, was so funny

Anyways, better get back to lazing away and relaxing... its been super hot here today, I can't fathom that its been so cold in Jozi apparently
