Eileen - Hope you got your cupboard in? Jealous of the holiday, could really use one at the moment, ah well theres a long weekend next month at least...
Robyn - i only use milk in her cereal! and then shes having veggies at night... but she seems to be trying to drop her milk feeds before the solid feeds...
JanineK - Kaelyn also didn't like the home made stuff the first night, the second night she couldn't get enough... now she pulls faces when i give her purity!!
Girly - I also offer Kaelyn water after her meal in a sippy cup (i have the avent one and i swopped the top to be a normal bottle teat to get her used to her water being in a pink cup instead of the usual bottle. it seems to work she drinks quite a bit and then takes a nap.

but she was still struggling with the poos and i didn't want it to get too bad... so now what hubby and i have sort of started is she gets flavoured porrige every second night and veggies every other...
So glad to hear Kaylee is doing so much beter!

such a pity you are getting sick now
Babyzee - wow still waking three times a night? I don't know that i can help you, but lets try huh?
What i did when Kaelyn stopped sleeping through on holiday is i just gave her her dummy when she woke up the first time, shen shed go to bed and wake an hour or so later so i'd give her a feed and so on, and i carried on like this for a few days, every day she would sleep longer realising that the milk was really only going to come after a 5 hour sleep.
but i have also read that if you don't like that method you could try giving her a bottle with 80% milk 20% water the first night and each night make more milk and less water till eventually there is no milk in the bottle, once baby realises there is no nutritional value at that time of night and they dont get hungry they sleep through it. but only do this with one feed at a time!
My hubby is the same, he also doesn't hear little one cry but as a compromise to this he would take little one in the mornings over weekends, (I'd leave him a bottle), so would get to sleep in! And believe me that helped immensely

During the week maybe DH could take het in the the afternoons for you and let you have a nap?
