Kerry - I find if her poos are getting abit hard, I just add some more milk to her cereal or even her veggies and that sorts it out quite quickly. Am also trying to give her some water during the day altho she's not so keen on it

Kerry, we also going away next week.

Well, hubby phoned, cupboard is ready, guess what?! I have to go fetch his dads 1Tonner trokkie to collect it! I've never driven one of dem fings!

Did DH not get that his brand new car was at the panelbeaters on monday ?

Anyhoo, hi ho hi ho, here me and Iz go! Hehehehe!

Robyn - Dakota sleeps so much more than my little nunu.... mine only has two "naps"in the day about half hour siestas and then sleeps at night from 6:30/7 to about 5ish (with a feed at 3/4)

Her shedule is down to solids now at 8:30 is and again at 6 at night, and i am considering starting a lunch time feed soon, but i am worried as even though she loves the solids her poo's are getting a bit hard, more so when i give her veggies

i must be honest though i do suspect that the MIL is giving her a veggie feed for lunch against my wishes, but i just cant seem to find a way to find out.

Girly - i can only imagine what it must be to hear that your child whom you have carried and cared for since they were smaller than a pea is most likely not going to make it! . Perhaps thats what Kaylee's problem is? God needed you to be there for that mother who without you would have had no one?

Oh and RE the long post its not selfish... we are all here for you! (and secretly i think we all love it because you and Kaylee are doing so well and being so very brave!

Eileen - the batroom cabinet sounds like a very familiar story between hubby and i LOL... i have been there done that... and i guess truth be told we lap up every moment of it Te week before Kaelyns dedication was the same and to add insult to injury we were leaving for holiday in CT the next weekend!

Girly, as Charnenay said, we want to be your outlet. And Charnenay, I think you'd agree with me in saying, that Girly don't realise just how much we really care and want to help and support and be there for her. We all have been checking Facebook and Moomie non-stop for updates just to be sure you all are ok.

Well, today is springclean, as Iz's dedication is finally going to take place. Now off course hubby sends me on Tuesday to have a new bathroom cupboard designed and made, cause the current upstairs one is bit damaged, and some visitors may want to use that bathroom!!!!! I mean regtig now! Ja, I don't have anything else to do! You mos know men! Text me the measurements and requirements and off I go! Get to the place, now they want me to draw the cupboard.....picture this....Iz on the hip, handbag, babybag over the shoulder, Blackberry in hand, I'm drawing a bathroom cupboard! Needless to say, it more resembled roadkill. Anyhoo, we will see how my masterpiece turned out this afternoon

I got my maid in this morning, and went to hire one of those industrial carpet and upholstry cleaners. So she's washing the furniture and our bedroom carpet. I'll tackle the shopping bit later. Once Iz is fed and awake.

Offcourse as if the week wasn't hectic enough hubby starts with a cold! And you all know men and colds! Sorry to say, but I just did not have any sympathy left. Told him to get drugs, see a doc, suck it up, he is now a parent and don't have time to be ill.
With the dedication, I can't do everything, my mom is out of action, she can't help at all. As she is due for a back operation. Maybe better luck next time he's ill.

Ok, enough venting. Weekend! Feels like holiday today. Girls are going to their dad. So I don't have to be taxi mom today! Yeah I have to run around for other things, but no kids activities!!!! Sommer feel like celebrating with some Sushi!

That poor mom What happened to Butterflies that she can give this mom some encouragement?

John also loves his cereal, its his absolute favourite. We're about to go get some now. I am weaning him and he is not getting much from our morning breastfeed anymore. Next week I might have to start him on a bottle and give up the boob. Its the only breastfeed we still do and I'm only pumping once a day now so my milk is drying up. I'm excited to get my boobs back soon and hang out the pump to dry but I'll miss our morning breastfeeds, its been our special time together

Good luck breastfeeding K Girly, I hope her pain goes away soon and the wound stops bleeding.

Big hugs Jeanne ...... and please, you are not being selfish at all!!! We are all thinking of and praying for Kaylee and WAITING for your updates, so please use us as your outlet as often as you need to. Good idea to let Butterflies contact that mom - that is sooo sad

Wish there was more we can do to ease Kaylee's pains a bit and I can't imagine how helpless you must feel, just keep praying and don't loose faith.
