Good Day to all the soon-to-be-mommies,

Sorry i have been so quiet but I have had such a busy time. I have been reading all the posts but haven't had a chance to reply yet. I am so envious of all the mommies who have everything ready for their little bundles of joy...I havent even started yet. I havent even really bought anything yet except for nappies and wet wipes. Going on maternity leave end of July and will have to sort out everything then.

I went for my anomaly/4D scan this weekend. It was great. Tristan is weighing 874g and is 28cm in length. He has a bit of hair already and loves cuddling with his placenta.DH's heart sank to the ground and got very quiet next to me as the sonographer said she thinks its a girl and not a boy...and well at the end of the scan he finally took his leg away to show us the 'Full Monty'..he is definately one of the opposite sex.

I am very uncomfortable at the moment, hate sitting at my desk. I have put 4 bricks under my desk's legs to lift it a bit.

You have such cute bumps, my belly is huge and my little boy is such a busy little monkey. Does anyone know where I can buy the sleep positioner with the mothers heartbeat?

O and my milk appeared on Saturday..

Happy Belated Birthday Blessed to Be Mommy!

Mina Moo - that is such a beautiful pic of your LO.

Charnenay - I also get an early start every morning to beat the traffic - in the office at 06h30 and leave between 6h00 and 6h30. It's crazy hours but I run a hotel and unfortunately office hours dont apply!

I originally booked a private room at Cape Town Medi Clinic, but also thinking of changing to General. My medical aid only covers a general ward and would have to pay an additional R600 - R700 more per night for a private ward. And I'm just thinking that I could put that extra money to better use for Peyton.

I also want to take the hospital tour - will probably do it on my next visit to the gynae.

Still playing lots of classical music for Peyton - they say it improves a child's intellectual and creative abilities, stimulates imagination and motor neurone skills and actively helps brain development in general.

I went on tour of Panorama Hospital on Saturday. Really torn between whether or not I want to ask for a private room. I like the fact that you have your own bathroom in the private room and also that DH can stay the whole day, but on the other hand, I think I might want to be around other mommies and be able to chat too, especially during those midnight feeds Itt's only 2 or 3 nights really, so I am leaning more towards the general ward. What are you ladies doing?

I go for my 4d scan on Wednesday and then my next appt. with my doctor is 2 June - I can't wait to see how much she has grown.

Went to do some clothing shopping this weekend and I must say, I finally feel a tiny bit fashionable again Also went to get some of my things for hospital, like pj's etc. and for the first time in a long time I went shopping and didn't get anything for Emily!! Felt bad though, so I stopped in at Bargain Books and got her some nice books for her bookshelf.

Well, have a great day ladies, I have been at work since 6:30AM and I am sure I am going to be passed out by 4PM!! Decided that I don't want to drive anymore, so that's the sacrifice I have to make if I want DH to bring me in to work!!

Sorry that i've been MIA!! It was just a bit hectic..

So glad to see that everyone is doing great and also the LO's!! Ladies.. we are all basically in our 3rd Tri or close!!!! Do you ladies realize that we don't have that much time left?? I can not wait to meet my little Armand!!!

Had a bit of a scare last week regarding his movement!! As from Monday he was not moving as regular as he was before.. I gave it chance till Wed and phoned the doc.. Went to see her on Thur morning.. Turns out that my little boy was always laying head down and his kicks was above my belly and he turned breech so his kicks is now on my bladder!! That is why i did not feel him that much!! She looked at everything and he is perfect!!! He weighs 1.4kg's already!!! 2 weeks heavier than he should be!!!! It was very nice to see him!! Doc said that if he is 4kg's and bigger i have to get a c-sec.. As long as he is perfect and healthy!!
