Joybaby - yeah this morning sicness sucks... and mine seems to come and go so i guess i had better count mysely lucky! Its the indigestion every night that is getting to me! Argh!!!

My scan's only next friday (the 26th) still a while away, though i am starting to actually regret my decision to wait... and DH (and my family) are teasing me saying its twins... which is likely as they seem to run in the family...

finally managed to convince little K she doesn't need a dummy anymore... she bit a hole in her dummy... so i showed her that she mustnt bite the dummy she is breaking it... she looked at the hole... looked at me and told me to throw it away its broken... I told her if i threw it away there would be no more dummy... she said okay... so i told her to kiss it goodbye... which she did... and we havent used one since. Though every time she seems to want the dummy she tells me "i threw it away mommy".

I am a dummyaholic... Its been three days since my last dummy....

he he he

Kerry the MS is awful hey. I had none the first time. And had it solidly for 4 months this time!

Shew the first trimester is exhausting! Hopefully it'll get better soon. And great that you're able to take it easy!
Less than a week till your scan :D

BabyKsmom hey :)
That sounds super cute man! They are growing up soooo fast!

Robyn had her baby last week she was 40w2d along and had a 'fast' natural birth, 12 hours in total! Haven't seen any posts from her since but hopefully they are doing okay!

Rei will be here on Friday 19th October, just 3 more days to go!
I have a cold, so sleeping quite a lot during the day. And still havent packed the bags oops! But I'm going to do it now, everything has been washed and is ready to be packed. Baby has so many things!
I have a few things I need to drive around for tomorrow, and then on Thursday I plan on doing nothing at all!
Kaylee is getting sick again though, very upset about this. She's got an ear infection but the grommets are draining nicely it seems. Also started with a cough again yesterday - probably from my germs. So back onto duolin etc for her.
She's been quite miserable at night, waking up screaming, yesterday she was awake at 4:30 and today 5:30 and yet still only goes to sleep after 8pm most nights.
I'm struggling with the idea of her not being my little girl anymore. I hate that she has to grow up, and that our attention to both kids just wont be the same as before. I am really 'missing' her already, its as if she knows. She's been so good about it though.

Hope everyone else is well!
Cols hows it going? You're on my mind a lot. Really hope youre getting some answers. Have you been for another Lap yet?

Charne's girl and kaylee had a play date on Saturday. The two of them are so cute together! It took a while before Kaylee warmed up to the idea that I wasnt leaving her, and by the end they were playing non stop, although I think Em wanted to go nap and K just wanted to play lol!

First angel resting 25/06/2009 stayed with us a short 7 weeks but we still miss you.

Cute baby K, sounds like you had a ball!

Ugh the morning sickness comes and goes... sheesh, punishment for not having it the first time round i guess... feeling pretty green this morning, hopefully it will pass though... and so tired that i am sure its twins! He he he, i seem to get home and thats me done for the day, i sit outside and watch Kaelyn play while DH does all the chores and cooks, we eat then he plays with k a bit, then i bath her and put her to bed and then i attempt watching TV while he studies a bit but inevitably fall asleep while he is busy

Hi girls! How we all doing?
Robyn??? Is Mk here? You've been quiet so I'm guessing the little princess has arrived and is keeping you very busy ;)

Kerry, how are you feeling hun?

Joybaby, how are you doing? Almost there now :) :)

John's concert was awesome. The theme was World Cup 2010 and he was a little zulu boy and even did the zulu kick like a pro. He's got such rhythm my little dude. I can't believe how much trouble the school went to, the whole show was 2.5 hours long and these children just went on and on, singing and dancing like little champions. Such fun!

John born 30 August 2010

Tks Kerry-we've got a small potty but will get the seat & step rather

Well, I'm 40 weeks today and still no sign-my tummy is just too homely
Went for a scan this morning but dr says she's still too comfy and happy
Discussed induction but she wants to wait for McK rather than interfering
Made another appt for next Mon so if she is t here by then we will def consider inducing
Oh and dr also put me on a course of antibiotics as I have a chest infection again
Scan said she weighs 3.6 but dr thinks she's more likely 3.4
Interestingly dr said the most common delivery date is actually 40wk2d which is Wed, so we'll see- will keep you all posted...

K was also doing that at home Robyn... but going on her own without prompting at creche!

Turned out she strongly dislikes out potty at home, i got one of those toilet seat adaptor thingies and a little step for her and now she is happy to go there

What creche would do is they cottoned on to when about she would wee, and then would sorta get her to sit on the potty and read a book or watch a little tv or sth, until she succeeded. basically if she got off and said finished they would check and send her back if she hadn't yet. If she started getting upset or bored they backed off and let her off, not going to succeed if its under duress.

When she did wee, even if it was by accident it was rewarded with a gold star on her forehead and one on a potty chart on the wall and a phone call to mommy / daddy.

Now she insists on going for a wee every time you try put a nappy on...

Dont stress perhaps she just isn't ready or interested yet? Besides i wouldn't place any expectation there from what i have heard from just about every mommy i know with that age gap is that even the fully potty trained child went back to nappies when the new baby came into the picture... sort of a if they can do it why cant i, or a plea for attention, who really knows why, perhaps its best if you don't succeed, at least then there wont be a set back?

I'm losing the potty battle!!!
D hates going on the potty now-if I ask if she wants to potty she always says NO
And if I put her on it, she stands up and says All Finished, but will have a dirty nappy 5mins later
Argh
