Evan does little dances now on his bum and shakes his arms in the air when he hears music. He also claps his hands when you sing "if you're happy and you know it"

How are you all doing?

Congrats to all the little ones that celebrated their FIRST Birthday. I still can't believe we are here already! I want to keep them baby for as long as possible.

Pinkmommy, the pics are awesome. She definitely kooks like she had a ball. (The whole story about them not knowing it's their party does not count in your case. It looks like she knew exactly what it was all about)

Best of luck to those of you having parties this coming weekend.

Kerry, it seems they like the uneven surfaces more. My one would "walk" on the bed but refuse flat out to do so on the tiles. She is however climbing on and over everything. Made a videoclip of her climbing the stairs to send to her Gran. Ouma immediately phoned to tell us we should not allow it

Pinkmommy - Oh my looks so so adorable! So glad you had a good time! I love the one of Iz on her little bike we tried one for K but her feet don't reach the ground yet (little shorty)

Robyn - the singing sounds cute... K dances and goes La la la if you do it first... so sweet...

As for me, WOW we had a busy weekend, clearing out the back garden and filling in a few holes the dogs had decided to dig... just general getting ready for Kaelyns big party next weekend, oh my word am i stiff this morning though Sheesh, ill bet little one is too she spent two days walking on the grass... and i must commend her the ground isn't even all that flat! she would carry things around the garden, at one stage a threw a dog toy because it was in my way and she went about 10 meters to the other side of the garden fetched it and brough it ten meters back to me... she is so so sweet! I love her to bits.

Iz's walking is going nowhere slowly, rather takes our fingers and says "come".

Jeanine, hope you had a fab day yesterday and happy belated bday wishes to Willem.

We absolutely had a blast, Iz enjoyed her party so much. She didn't cry once, had a fat kuier with everyone being her cute self all the time.

Unfortunately my DH stepped back into the pool on friday while cleaning it and fractured his arm . Off course her was too stubborn to go to the dr right away and we had to rush off to doc yesterday morning. I had to call in for backup to help me do everything. My mom, stepdad and step brother were real superhero's. First DH walked around like a bear with a thorn in his foot from frustration cause he can't do anything and then all happy and skipping from the pain meds.

Robyn, Iz also loves her singing, but I hear you on the actual sounds....

Armand is doing great! Walking up a storm!! Has 15 teethies and says Pappa and oupa. He loves the outdoors!! Drinks 2 bottles of 200ml (13:00 and 18:30) and eats 3 meals a day. sleeps from 19:30 - 07:30. So i really don't have anything to complain about!! Love my little boy to bits!!

With the pregnancy... All is going very well. Went to Fetal Assessment yesterday! All is PERFECT!! All GLORY to GOD!! and it is a.............................. BOY!!!!!!! We are going to have another little boy!!! Very excited!!!!! No for name hunting... I just had girly names in my head

Happy Birthday to all the 1 year-olds!!!!! Can't believe how time has flown

Dakota is still on 4x 150ml bottles (07h00, 11h00, 15h00, 19h00) with 2 meals (13h00, 17h00)
she can't finish anymore than 150ml - her tum is just not big enough
Going for her 1year checkup at the end of the month and we'll chat to the paed about cutting out a bottle, getting her onto cows milk etc
She now has 7 teeth and still only really says Dadada but she loves to sing (altho it sounds more like a dog howling :doh:
Oh, and she is way too confident in her walking than she should be - she thinks she can run, but she can barely walk
