HAHA.. the toiled... yes i second that one... K has been there and done that... in fact whe DH blocked her from the one bathroom she simply went to the guest loo... i guess she just wanted to lean what a toilet is huh.

and on the MIL issue, well by the grace of COD she decided while she was away that if Kaelyn liked the creche then she would like it if K stayed... so she thinks its her idea that K stayed at creche... josh and i got a mercy pass huh?

Kerry, you would be surprised where all they can get into. Willem's new two favourites is the toilet and the dustbin.
MIL's dustbin has to stand facing the wall, and my dustbin is taped shut at the moment (swing lid, so accessible from behind...)
Last week when FIL went to the bathroom, he discovered one of his DVD’s inside the toilet Lid was closed… He must have either lifted it slightly, or posted it through the gap underneath the seat.
MIL found a hanger in there 2 days ago! And the door is supposed to be always closed

PM, know how you feel two days and counting here to - luckily I took the day off tomorrow, so I can at least get all the baking done! Made some banana loaf last night, so 1 more item ticked off...

Candice, sorry you can't make it, but hope Lily (and you) feel better!!

Glad to hear Kaelyn is doing so well at creche - btw, how did it go when MIL came back from holiday, did she not wonder why Kaelyn didn't go back to her?

Cols, plans are on track But then again, I'm keeping it rather simple... We are just having cake and snacks - but since Evan and Willem is going to be the only 'babies' there it seems, the food might be a bit geared to the bigger kids - maybe just pack him a snack you know he will eat? I did get flings, and I'm planning on taking a few banana and yogurts...

As for the job hunting
Not really happening yet All my own fault of course - every time I even think about it, I get stressed , which is followed by avoidance, which is followed by trying my best to just ignore it.
I've been using the party planning as an excuse the last week, but guess I just have to get my into gear and get started. I only have till end October to find a new job
What doesn't help is that the other guy working with me already has a new job, he signed everything yesterday

not oo much party planning happening, i think its all done and all thats left to do is wait till the day. it might be a little hectic the day before getting ready and getting everything cooked on the day, but ugh if we run late with the cooking people will not really mind a little wait... long as the baby's food is done huh? I am debating mini quiches or some duck shaped sandwiches...

Kerry, they really do get into everything! Evan has finally learnt how to sit from standing... He used to just stand and wait for someone to come get him and sit him down. How's your party planning going for next Sunday?

Evan's 4th tooth is cutting through - woohoo. He is still the milk monster - had 2 extra bottles last night - can you believe it? He was so good with his injection. He didnt even flinch. I was so proud

Our pool is finally finished. DH is going to get the creepy and accessories tomorrow. And also shop for a pool net. That is a priority. Once that's done we need to look at the garden. It is now a giant sand pit. We need to plumb in irrigation, wire garden lights and design the layout of the yard. I need to find a landscaping tool (for free if possible )

Hi all!

Two days till party time and it's a mad rush getting everything done as daddy dearest just adds to the to-do list oblivious to the fact that each day only has 24 freaken hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm kinda feeling like a headless chicken, not sure if I'm gonna pull this off.

Anyhoo, took Iz to the paed yesterday as she has a light rash, turns out its an allergic reaction. So I had to take a few steps back hunting whatever is causing it....VIENNAS!!! Some of those little buggers got soya in. The woolies skinless one however don't have. And she still has some thrush from all the antibiotics. Got another batch of meds. Whohoo....not!

Iz is turning into a real little cheeky one! Shakes her head NO if she doesn't want to do anything and if you continue asking she covers her ears with her hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTH??????

Barney is boring now, and Carike in Kinderland is flavour of the month. But there's a song about a mouse and she is scared of the mouse comes and sits on my lap everytime it comes on.

Hey gals. arg sooooo busy no time to chat sorry - seems to be the story of my life. To the lady who invited us Jhb moms out this weekend for birthday party, we'll have to cancel as Lily has measles... Eish. Been a hectic couple of weeks. Anyway, I know it's not meant to be contageous once the spots are out but I think I have a variation of it too so I don't want to risk passing it on to anyone! And then to make matters better her nanny's mom passed away today so thought I could spend my isolation at home working whilst nanny looked after her... Well now I'm nanny-less!
Arg! Anyway, happy birthday to everyone!
