As for me, well K started walking on friday... now she hardly crawls anymore... its so very very cute... i am so proud!

Cols, glad everything went according to plan and you had a great time.

Party planning is in full swing. I managed to make all the bean bags yesterday, they came out better than expected. We finally decided to have the party at home. Dh is seriously a pain when it comes to these things. Anyhoo just as with the dedication he is now coming with these ridicilous requests imagine he phones me on Monday proposing we rip out our bedroom carpet a tiling it before the party dejavu much....remember I had to go design and order a new bathroom cupboard last time???? Oh hell no! I quickly put my size 5 down! He settled for some smaller projects around the house.

Today is operation GET THE INVITES OUT! And get the stickers I designed printed etc.

I got lekker spoiled yesterday. New wardrobe (compliments woolies sale) , lotsa make-up (all mine was almost finished), washed down with loads of sushi!

Anyhoo supper cooked, let me get dressed and let the games begin.

Jeanine, I am so sorry to hear that It's not cool having to be on the look. I guess at least you were aware it could be happening. What work do you want? Let me know, I will let you know if I hear anything...

I hope it all works out with FIL. He knows Willem's routine etc and it'll probably be fun for them to play together etc

We had such a super time at Evan's Christening. It really was beautiful And the cake was DIVINE and so cute. It really came together so lovely

How was everyone's Women's day? We went to Lory Farm Zoo and Irene Farm. We had such a lovely day Evan even played in the sandpit and ate sand! Freaked me out completely But he enoyed it

Sorry I was a bit MIA, but had a hectic week last week

Happy birthday Evan for Friday (rahter late than never )

Cols, don't joke about the doors. Willem knows VERY well how to get out, and he also knows which doors are usually closed/blocked. If you dare leave any of them open, he gets this silly laugh, and he RUNS for it. And if I get there fist and close it in front of him - tears

Anyway, my week was really crap last week. We've known for a while now that the company I work for is struggling. It all came down to one big management contract...
Well, last week monday we heard that the contract is not going to be re-newed again this year. So I only have work till 31 October....
Now I need to get my CV in order (first time in 9 years ) and look for a new job

Also last week, MIL got a job - she starts Wednesday. Luckily FIL is still willing to look after Willem - we will give it a while to see if he is coping alone.
(as I keep telling people (and myself) he is a toddler now, not a small baby anymore, I'm sure he will be fine )

On top of that I'm trying to organize Willem's party... and running about 2 weeks behind 'schedule'
Lets just say my week was a bit full
