Juandre - Can you actually give in your forms to UIF now? Or, are you already on maternity leave?

Maureen, thank you for popping in and giving us an update.

Lucy and Jane- I can't believe how quickly time has flown.

Misstq- Good luck with the rest of your tests. Here is Durban we also have not had any cold weather, most days the temp is between 27 -30 degrees. It doesn't help my swollen feet though.

I have all my UIF forms and want to take them in next week. Will take a morning off work and go to the labour department.

sal you sound just like me!!! hand and fingers so sore and swollen, the pelvic pain, etc as you say the list goes on! still got till friday at work cant wait to be home.

Reflux is kinda like heartburn yes that burning ball feeling and sometimes your food coming halfway back up, etc..... its crap, i find gaviscon helps. Also if i eat too soon before i nap or go to bed its worse and its worse if i lie on my right than left side lol....

Lovely that your company is paying you 100% for 3 months. Mine does not pay for anything at all.your due date is 4th June, WOW - are you having natural?
How is your maternity leave been so far, please try and relax and just rest and take things easy.

Ladies - We are all really dropping now, one by one. Remember when we first found out we were expecting and all the months waiting and thinking it would never arrive?

Hello ladies. Been reading your posts for a while now. My due date is next Friday, 4th June. This is my 1st week on maternity leave and I'm suffering. I'm battling like most of you, heart burn (havent had it before)constantly. I have such a sore pubic bone it feels like someone has kicked me there everytime I stand up. My hands/fingers are so sore from pregnancy carpel tunnel and the list continues. I'm desperate to go into labour soon...

simone,i'm applying for 1 months UIF as my company is paying 100% for 3 months. Need to still get the forms etc.

Skyler, is reflux that burning ball one can feel at the bottom of your throat? If so its killing me, whats the cure?

Skyler - thanks. I got a sticker liner at Checkers for R21 but will go get soeme nice smelly ones as well

i still have 7 tests left 3 this week and 4 next week.studing is going well hopefully the marks wil prove that. lol
yes i'm also very glad that there is no signs of her coming earlier than expected.
i do believe everything will work out just perfectly.
we're also beginning to feel winter this side but only here about from 4 am to 6 am. i'm really feeling sorry for you guys having to strugle with the cold winter in SA.
