re - visitors dont like in hospital really as I was tired and overwelmed so only dh and then quick lunch with boet and 2 friends all together

at home had more people as I liked company

Re sleep - I was tired but couldn't sleep last night so I took 3 rescue tablets and slept like a baby

In typical Witbank style we have no water today, so I can't do washing. I spilt milo ALL over my duvet, sheets, pillows etc the other night. Cleaned up the duvet and cushions already, but only changed the sheets this morning. Also wanted to wash nighty for hospital Really sucky part is I already put the load of washing on and then discovered the water pressure was low, so the washing is half wet...ai, what a mess.

Eloise - visitors, I haven't really decided. Because we are having baby in PTA, I recon all the PTA / JHB folks will visit over weekend. Witbank friends will visit when we are home I assume. DH has said he will be the guard and tell people to 'boeger off' if I am not up to it.

Size - ladies I feel like a BUS my maternity pants are officially VERY snug...seems like I was saving all my weight gain for the end of my pregnancy

quick one ladies, the new living and loving has an article in it called newborn 101! not sure how good it is havent had a chance to read it but it looks very interesting!

Argh to have internet again...only for today. DH had to go for his final root canal today and is at home. My brother gave me an ancient laptop to use and it's so old, it doesn't want to read the internet doggle's software. So no daytime internet for me unless I go to Mom's house.

Sleeping - last night was horrible. I woke up at 01.41 and only went back to bed at 5. I'm hosting my bf's hen's party on Saturday so I was writing out the games and ideas and ja, put it this way, the whole thing is uber planned now. Very exciting.

Reflux - yes, I get it too. Haven't puked, but came close a few times.

Jane and Lucy - so much of excitement and good wishes for you births. I'm envious, but SO happy that your day(s) have finally come. Good lucky, I'll be thinking of you.

Nelria - awesome photos of belly and Lea. Glad that Xen is sticking it out a bit longer.

Eve - know it's old news, but great stuff about the paper that they cocked up. And good luck with family issues.

All the other ladies - sounds like everyone is doing ok. Nesting kicking in etc.

You know what, I'm still loving being pregnant. Of course reflux isn't nice and I can not wait to sleep on my stomach or eat sushi and drink copious amounts of wine, but I think I'm going to miss being pregnant. I've really had an easy one all things considered.

It's so awesome having my mom back. She is busy making our curtains. Can you believe that our baby room isn't done yet? We're waiting for more shelves (which I stupidly only ordered last week). But that's it then. I've made a few mobiles for Alex and hung them, ag the room is coming together nicely.

Babybag - I have all the stuff that we need, but it's all in the cot. DH will have to throw it in a bag once the time comes.

I'm still not worried about birth. Perhaps because I think that Alex is sitting comfortably. But I'm SO excited to meet him. So excited.

Anyway - I'm a CPT lady and am keen to meet up. Just let me know. We can always come your way Eve seeing as we're all mobile. Just let me know.

Oh, one last thing, my UIF forms are in. Tums2Mums's Vanessa has registered me and she'll keeps texting to keep me in the loop. really good service.

Juandre & Sal - enjoy your mild bloody winters in Durbs. DH is already moaning and winter has hardly started! DH was in Kloof High - where did you go to school?

Anyway, I've read all the posts and I am sorry if I can't remember all the other news.

I'll check in a bit later today again.

PS - Ronel - are you enjoying maternity leave? 9 June hey, so exciting. I hope your BP stops rising.

I'm doing the application myself so need some advice please.

I have the following forms and documents ready:

* my ID and marriage certificate
* Form 2.8 (bank fills it out)
* Bank statement
* Form 2.7 (employer fills out)
* Form 2.3 (application form)

Is that all I need? Do I still need to get a letter from my gynae saying that I am pregnant?

Then what do I do? and when?

Eve- that is wonderful that mom will be down the road. I was just saying to a friend yesterday that I miss my mom soooo much. She died 6 1/2 years ago and I don't think it is something any woman gets over.

My guide from the hospital just says a copy of marriage cert and ID.

I know all that needs to be done is often overwhelming but baby steps and you will get there!!!
