We are all emailing or phoning relevant people at Unisa. We have proof because they sent it to us in a tutorial, which is online and was senr in the post.

Apparently they've done this before, which is even more disturbing.

I'm going to fight it though. I am totally freaked out for tomorrow's exam now because I am no longer confident!

Sorry to hear that EveS, that is why I admire so many people who are still studyin(after secondary and tertiary education)

Can a group of you not get together and complain or something? Surely they would all remember what the lecturer had said?

Ladies, I am so sorry to do this but I just need to vent!

I spent almost an hour bawling my eyes out after this past exam. I was so confident when I stepped into the room and felt like a complete failure when I stepped out. I even told DH that I'm going to stop studying.

I then realised that our Unisa lecturer specifically told us not to study a certain section for the exam, and then she put that section in the exam paper for 25 marks (a quarter of the exam mark).

This is the difference between a pass and a fail!! I definitely failed that exam.

I think it is so unfair to tell us not to learn a section and then make it 1/4 of the exam paper.

I have no confidence for tomorrow's exam and might as well just quite while I'm ahead.

LOVING maternity leave. Shame, DH had the worse toothache all weekend and had to have rootcanal this morning! Which was a bit of bonus for me, cause he was home with me all day. So we went to go watch Iron Man 2 - awesome. And then I baked fudge for him to take to work tomorrow.

It's weird though, I feel guilty for not doing anything.

Hospital bag - not packed. My list has been made though, but I still have to go buy proper PJs, all the different packs of pads we need and a few other bits, so no, bag not packed.

Mediclinic Durbanville gives the babies clothes, and they recommend that we take 2 going home outfits as it is inevitable that just as you've dressed baby, they pee/puke/poo all over it...haha. They also say take 1 receiving blanket and 1 warm blanket.

We've got our antenatal baby bath class tonight. DH isn't so keen as he is still drooling from his mouth a bit, but it's for him, so he'll just have to suck it up...shame, my poor boy...!

I'm going into work tomorrow to do the handover with the new girl, probably half day's work.

Juandre - glad you enjoyed your shower. Do you still need a few things seeing as they didn't check your box?

Nelria - my gynie is a real ass! But he knows what he is doing. Says she is still small & after 38 weeks (next Saturday) the placenta starts to deteriorate, so it is best to take baby out at 38 weeks especially cos she is a bit tiny. Also, we have to travel about 2 hours to the hospital and the placenta is lying in the anterior position. Wish baby would turn, but alas, Dr says he even if she does, he doesn't want to risk a natural birth cos it (a long protracted labour) could be too tough for her due to size again.
Kind of made peace with Dr and his ways now. He will not be delivering our 2nd baby, but the friend of mine whose baby almost died in-utero? in January - her Dr didn't pick up that baby had stopped growing and was struggling. So I would rather be cautious now.

Glad your baba has caught up ito weight and has turned! That's such a blessing!

So I tried to read everything so here it goes:::

Zeltjie- Wow Wow Wow, you are having twins that is fantastic at least there is one mommy in this forum carrying twins. I'm also a TWIN, my mother told me that when me and brother were born He was weighing 2.8kg and poor me only 1.9 kg, apparently I was so tiny dr.s thought I was going to die, I was not eating at all.

ML- Lucy and Mrs S enjoy your Leaves, everybody else's is just around the corner, mine is starting next week Thursday Cant wait.

Belly pics- Lucy you are one HOT HOT mamma.

Washing powders- have no clue

Clothes- I'm taking baby clothes to the Hosp, but Netcare told me that they do give clothes, I thought I will feel better if I also brought a few.

Hosp Bag- I have not packed anything, I have been postponing it until I go on leave next week.

Juandre- Glad you had FAB baby shower

Baby update- was at the Gymea on Saturday, baby is weighing 2.68 kg at 35wks, he is doing great.

Must admit this Gymea is not man of many words, I mean you go in, he checks you quietly, and then tells you the weight and that baby is doing great and then he says now see you after two weeks, TAKE CARE.
