twins start arriving from 33 wks girl so hurry your ass up

oh and my friend and sil had twins and managed breastfeeding (one 4mnths the other 1yr) so u will do great

I have bearly even thought about packing my hospital bag. Guess I will have to go to the hospital and ask what I must bring for the babies. I'm feeling intimidated like you won't believe! I'm going to stay in hospital (Medi-Clinic in Vanderbijlpark) for the full 4 days. I want as much help as I can get with breastfeeding.

I went to my doc on Friday. They couldn't find my bp with those machines they use, so he took it manually. He said it's higher than normal and at this stage it will only be getting higher! He prescribed Adalat, but the pamphlet says that it may not be taken by pregnant or lactating women. I could phone and ask, but I don't like the attitude of the women working for him. Plus all the side-effects... Most of them will make a pregnant woman run the other way!

Silly me and the braxton hicks! I only realised it was bh this morning.
Still have to decorate and write the names on the boxes for my son's 5th b-day party tomorrow. I slept for most of this morning, hubby came to check on me, made me lunch, but now I want to sleep again. Something wrong with me?

afm - i decided to skip belly pics already had some with lea and this time I am just fatter so wont be as nice - but not minding as I will do newborn ones and they so much fun - with lea we did them and the pc lost them all grrrrrrr so only fair each baba has one set of uniques

ok so just been to gynae and whoop whoop boeta has caught up very nicely

He now weighs 2.5kgs at 35wk 4day so he has gained 500g in 2 days short of 2 wks

Mummy off course also gained 1.5kg's but all in good spirit

he has also turned so is lying head down now so YIPPIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gynae optimistic i will carry longer than lea's 37 wks so lets see and hope as he is still small but in avg range now

head and body difference now only 1.5 wks so he is growing and placenta 100%

jane - i dont see ticker for u? how many wks wil baba be then? and why not ride it till contractions start?

Zeltjie - welcome! Wow, I take my hat off to you! My little one is 2.4kg at 36 weeks and my back is quite sore with her sitting breech / traverse (whichever way she turns) and sitting on different nerves

So, doplar reading was down this morning. Dr is happy but wants to check me on Friday again. Got to have another doplar on Monday and see him afterwards and if all of these scans are ok, then she can stay in til Thursdya next week! He has booked c-section and says this will be the latest that he will leave her in. So I'm gonna be a MAY MOMMY Bit nervous about c-sec recovery, but have been doing my research and will go for spinal and try to get up a.s.a.p. Have also heard that I must ask about lazer therepy at the hospital.

Nelria - when are you going back to Dr? How much is your baba weighing?

Lucy- I am so jealous about yur ML!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess we must just be patient.

I was getting worried about my baby shower. I had asked for it to be at the end of April so when that came and went I wondered what was going on. Funny though nobody seemed to visit baby city and look in our basket!!!!

Sal - I used Sunlight Baby Washing Powder (light blue & white box) and then the StaSoft Baby Softner (Hypoallergenic) and all seems ok.

Nelrea - loving leave... got up at 10am had showe and a pal come visit till 12h00 then had lunch and now watching TV shows which DH downloaded for me!!! Yeah!!! Feel good and rested!

Energy drinks - Powerade & Energade

Baby Clothes - I called Netcare and they do supply and some Medi Clinics also supply. So best is to phone your specific Hospital and check with them.
The ladies I checked with at my Hospital said the clothing the babies were in smelt nice and looked really good and clean... so thought might as well use them... But again DH can always bring for me if need be!
