I'm so glad I found that I found this website! I decided to join the June mommies although my due date is actually July 2. I'm expecting twins, 32 weeks, 1 day and counting... It's a boy and a girl! We are so glad to be getting one of each. I have an almost 5year old son (Dylan 18/05/2005, 3,3kg, head 36cm, lenght 54cm, all natural birth - wanted to die) from a previous relationship. Got married January 30, 2010 (met April 26, 2009. We decided to wait a year before getting permanent contraception. We have booked a c-section for June 17. My b-day is the 16th and hubby's the 18th. I would like to keep them inside until I go into labour, but the way I'm feeling the past week I don't think I will be able to survive until then. LB (Zak) weighs 2199g and LG (Nikki) 2055g. I can just say that this last stretch is killing me! I'm experiencing so much pain, pressure, spasms, cramping and what else that I won't know I'm in labour unless something obvious like my waters breaking happens. Good luck to all! I've been told the clothes at CTMC are nice as well and if I really don't like them then I guess DH has to come home to sleep anyway so he can just bring some clothes for Connor.

Decided not to stress about my bag or Connor's because DH will have to come home and if I forget anything, he can just bring it or buy it

Im also doing the ziplock thing but the advice was Julz! I nitially had an outfit for each day for baby. But then 2 people I know who gave birth at my hospital recently said there was only need for a coming home outfit. So for me only packed that and another bag with extra beanies, mittens, socks. Then 2/3 receiving blankets. So I have the 6 odd newborn outfits & vests I have at home for when baba is home. Also I saw a 3.1kg baby in a 0-3 months and he was fine. They rolled his sleeves and then ensure he had a vest and socks on underneath anyway. He was fine.

I think I'm going to get a few cheapie newborn outfits, just to make me feel a bit more prepared and if Connor doesn't wear them, then I haven't wasted too much money.

Julz and other mommies on other posts also said it doesn't matter if the clothes are too big i.e if we use 0-3 months and they don't fit just right

I also planned on packing things in a ziplock bag - good advice from Julz as this is what she did.

Eve - check with your hospital whether they have clothes for baby, if not, how many outfits to they suggest. Our local hospital suggests 5 outfits (&vests) and UNITAS says they want 6 - 8 outfits (with vests). I have got newborn babygrows cos I know Caitlin is going to be small. Have taken (Lucy's?) advise and packed a babygrow, vest & Socks in a zip lock bag for each day along with two hats and a pair of mittens. That way, I know what is where too.

Lucy - great photies! I haven't done that, but DH said he wants to make a video of us before she arrives that shoudl be quite fun.
