Alex - I knew I wanted to ask Mrs SH something but couldn't rememeber heheheheheh. Also wanted to know where Woolies is?

I'm dreading writing exams while raining - it'll be so distracting and Unisa's exam rooms aren't the most friendly and comfortable. I normally write in Parow bur writing in Grassy Park this year.

My gynae isn't at CTMC but I know what u mean.

I'm calling tomorrow - there must be some mistake. He was normally under R250 so no ways it can be almost R600 now, especially if he wants to see me every 10 days.

How often should I see gynae nowadays?

Evening ladies!

It’s only a pleasure, we pregnant fairies need to look out for each other :)

Shame Jelly and Ronel! Really hope you feel better asap!

Mrs SH- Where is the Woolies factory shop??? My brother was saying over the weekend that there is one but when I asked him where, he said Francshoek! I’m not travelling that far, not even for Woolies. Glad all’s well with Alex; did they give you an estimate for birth?

Eve- your gynae is ripping you off! My gynae (also at CTMC) charges R500 and that’s after she went up from last year’s fee. You need to find out what’s going on there.

The hook up sounds great! I’ll be out of exam mode by the end of the month and so badly looking forward to actually relaxing during the pregnancy- first 6 months was working and studying and last month and this month consisted of studying, so next month I get to do nothing! Yippee!!

I wrote today and must say I’m grateful it wasn’t raining, the sound of rain falling on the roof in a cold lecture room makes me want to pee LOL! Not good esp since they won’t allow bathroom breaks during the exam. I have an awful pain in my back and under my right boob, think I need to bath and get into bed.

Sleep well ladies and don’t forget your umbrellas, it’s supposed to rain till Saturday.

:)

Mrs SH - you and I are the same - I'm also 84kgs and was horrified!!

My gynae is a money maker, I'm sure of it. Went for scan the other day and he made me book another appointment for 10 days time - I mean seriously?? Am I really supposed to see him every 10 days?

I have an exam on Friday 14th, Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th and then I'm totally free for meeting you lovely ladies :)

If I'm not online, please can someone email me on evestyles@gmail.com to let me know what the plans are.

Thanks

Just got back from my scan.

Alex is a whopping 2.5kgs. He is laying with his head down, his bum under my left boob, his legs and feet under my right boob and right side. It's so cute. He was awake and we saw him wink his eyes. He was also proper flashing the family jewels. Dr couldn't remember whether we knew the sex and stopped scanning when he saw that - cause it was pretty obvious!

Didn't get a picture this time. I'm only going again in 3 weeks time - 1st June.

I'm weighing 84kgs, gained less than 2 since last time and it's all Alex thank goodness.

I got all gooey and gushey. Dr also talked about the peadiatrians and how they worked. Also prepared me for if I can't breastfeed - I gave a pretty adament yes when he asked whether I am going to breastfeed and then just told me that sometimes it doesn't work out and it doesn't make you a bad mother. He is so good like that - always makes you see both ends of the story.

Anyway, we're off to simply asia for some dinner and then we have antenatal classes! Yay!

have a good evening ladies!

Nelria - told you Xen was just being a male and teasing you! I'm sure he's moved or is slowly making his way into the right position.

been to babycity and now all done just need to wash clothes and pack suitcases

I am 35 wks today and preparing from 37 wks for arrival

mrs s - actually think xen has turned or atleast alternating breach and upright as i feel lot of central movement as opposed to just my lovehandles going craxy :)

afm - heaters got the oil one and even that barely manages a 20'c during peak winter so panel heaters was definite no no - if u decide on oil one go all out anf get the 12/14 fin as small ones is waste to buy :)

hey my leave officially starts 1 June..... but we could meet before then but would be on the weekend tho which is fine with me too :)

Eve that is ridiculous and i agree R600 sounds extreme i am only paying R370 and tania is considered one of the more pricey ones...

From Cape Town: Little boy (Breyton) due 13 June 2010, delivering at Blaauwberg Netcare :)

When does everyone's maternity leave start? Perhaps we can go before Lucy pops?

I'm free from Friday onwards. Otherwise we do two?

Ja, it sucks that you other ladies are based elsewhere. Would've been nice to meet everyone!
