Ok anyone else experiencing ALL day Braxton Hicks? Bloody sore! This is reminding my of the 1st trimester and me getting ALL DAY NAUSEA... not again...

Eloise - depending on which area your sister is in, I know of a photographer who is in Durbanville and she charges, I stand to correction, R250 per hour.

Even better - I know my sis would never do it herself so Im going to gift her with a photoshoot for herself and her BF. I think she'd really like that - she would never think to do that!

Nope, I haven't only ever worked 3 months heheheheheh I worked at one company for 2 years before that but they retrenched me and then I worked at the school for 3 months, till Dec 09, now I'm unemployed.

The company I worked for, for 2 years, I didn't pay UIF because my salary came directly from UK. I paid UIF at job before that but it was ages ago.

Anyhoo, I'll let you know what she says when she replies.

Ronel - she's emailing it all to me. Some of the forms needs to be originals and those she'll mail to me and I must mail back to her.

Eve - yes I don't have to do anything.

Have you only ever worked 3 months? I don't know much about the topic, but as I understand it, it works that if you have worked 2 years, then you will be able to claim for 4 months. I'm not sure if you've had an employment break, but technically can't see how that would affect it.

Mrs SH - regarding the UIF again. If you go through one of these agency, does it mean that you don't have to do anything? You don't have to get all the paperwork done or stand in the queue at Home Affairs after baby is born?

I don't even know if it's worth me trying for the UIF seeing as I only worked for 3 months - what do you think? Are they supposed to give me money back for the 3 months that I worked, especially now because I'm not just on maternity leave but actually unemployed for a whole year?

Ronel - my gynae listens to heartbeat everytime but literally for a second or two, I always thought he was just doing it so that we could hear heheheheheh
