Morning ladies

Today is a good day because it's Friday and it's PAYDAY!!!!!

Also, just found the Angel care monitor that I wanted and getting it for R700. Also found the clip over bath for R50, instead of R250.

Baby showers - ladies, I can't wait to hear if you had your baby showers and how much you got spoilt!!

Lucy - was thinking of you last night, I didn't get much sleep either - trips to the loo are on the rise.

Morning ladies

I don't think I have had BH. On sunday evening I had some cramps in my tummy and lower back and then it felt as if I had a runny tummy, but then it stopped and I didn't have it again, so I didn't gave it another thought.

I am now more convinced that my baby shower is tomorrow. A friend at work gave me a present this morning out of the blue. I orginally thought she wouldn't be able to come to my baby shower and I am thinking that is why she gave me the present. Also, I invited my sister's room mate. My sister is coming to visit us this weekend and I am picking her up this afternoon after work. Last night my hubby asks is the room mate is also coming. Now she never comes along and he never asks that. It is just to fishy everything.

Noster - I hope you are right and get spoiled rotten.

Thanks Skyler! I slept last night but feel drowsy today - partially cause of the pill and partially cause it will take more than 1 day to recover from not sleeping for 4 days. So am so looking forward to this weekend... Just want to sleep and stay in my Pyjama's YEAH!!!

Braxton Hicks - well i have not had this and have no idea what it will be like? I do know i would probably get freaked out. I am so sorry to the ladies who are experiencing all these new aches and pains and shame lucy seems like you have the worst of it - as usual!!! bet you cant wait for London to arrive. Will be thinking of you over the weekend and hope you try and get some relaxation!

Morning ladies!

What a misty (again) morning in Bethlehem. I am not complaining, I like cooler weather. Like I told you my BS was last week thursday (the one at work). I won't have a family one since my whole family is in the Western Cape and my DH is in Namibia. Now suddenly last night my DH told me he has a meeting at 5 o'clock this afternoon at work and I have to go with him. Well, this is strange, as he is only working till 1 o'clock on Fridays. I think something is going down with the ladies at his work. Will let you know on Monday.

A question: I felt really, really depro yesterday. Was crying the whole day. My boss sent me home at 12 o'clock. Then I slept the whole day and today feel a bit better. Did any of you experience this?

I bought my friend, who organized my work BS, the What to Expect Toddler years as her LO is 14 months. Just to say thanks. I think she appreciated it very much.

My next gynae appt is 4 May. Will see what he says.

Braxton Hicks - heard of quite a lot of people having BH contractions and
now also heard that it means ull have a shorter labour.

One of my fears is that my labour will be days long
and then they will have to do a c-section.

Do u think its better to have BH to prepare u and ur uterus?

I have too started feeling braxton hicks, but very mild. My tommy contracts and goes incredibly hard and then relaxes. But like I said, only mildly, I'm sure real ones are much much much worse!

I have such a migraine and was actually in bed. But my boss is stuck in Namibia and needed me to book a flight. So now I'm up again. Feeling like crap - migrane, nauseous and heartburn mixed. It sucks!

Jeanine Bressler is doing my newborn photoshoot. I got a voucher from my two best friends. Was going to do preggie shoot, but thought newborn - new family is more important.

Lucy - really hope you feel better.
