Hi Mrs DD - thanks so much! I have introduced London to a sippy cup. Took him about 2 weeks of playing with it (and I still have to hold it) but he drinks from it now. Water and also Baby Rooibos.

thanks so much ladies.

Lucy, your lo is too cute!!

Just one more question, are you giving your lo's rooibos in a bottle?
I havent introduced a sip cup as yet. And i read that only milk should be given in the bottle.

HI Noster - London is just over 5.5 months. Turns 6 months end of November.

Hi Giggles - The yogurt I give is Woolies Plain Full Cream. I am following Feeding Sense and it is helping me a lot!

Hi Mrs DD - Feeding Sense says Cream Cheese is a "first protein/calcium" which baby needs before starting meat. So I am following the book and boy does he love it! I have also read further there are many cheeses you can
intro to baby now like cottage and even cheddar! But obviously soft, smooth and plain! Feeding Sense is the new book by the Baby Sense ladies - it is my bible and works so well!

Also this helps : www.wholesomebabyfood.com/feedingcheesetobaby.htm

He tries chicken at 6 months. Feeding Sense has some lovely easy peasy recipes of food you can make, puree and freeze!

MrsDD,

I give Chloé her last milk bottle when she goes to bed, usually at 18:30. When she still fussed during the evening (it was usually at around 02:00) I gave her just a little bit of rooibos. She maybe drank 20ml and went straight back to sleep. We did that for one week or so and then she started sleeping through, not even fussing or anything. She then gets her Cerelac at 07:30 (she usually wakes at around 05:30-06:00) and gets her first milk bottle again at 08:00 when she takes her morning nap.

Maybe try it. I think she is a nice weight to take her of her midnight bottle and you will appreciate the undisturbed sleep as well. Hope it works for you! My paed said rooibos is fine from 5 months so I don't see any reason why you can't try it a bit earlier.
