Tiagosmom - you are not a bad mother! You are just being deprived of sleep. I have done the same. This is due to teething. My son at the moment is doing the same thing. Every night I give him Nurofen, as this works better than the Panado, you can even use Ponstan, as it doesn't constipate my son. This will pass and he will go back to his sleeping routine. Just keep in mind that it is extremely sore and he will be niggly for a couple of days until those teeth are properly through. Just be strong.

Ladies I went for my Gynae appointment this morning, I am now 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant, Peanut is due the 3rd of February and is 7mm. And of course a beautiful heart beat. I am in love all over again!

Have a great day

Hi Ladies,

I wanted to know what are you guys giving your babies for teething, I used to just use Vidol and it was fine but now it seems both Ts eye teeth are coming out and the poor child screems blue murder at night that I have been using panado everynight which isn't exactly ideal as it causes him to become constipated, anyway its messed up his sleeping again - he slept perfectly on the weekend and then Sunday night and last night was a nightmare again, I was so fed up I screamt at him at 3 am and told him to shut up eventually ( this is the first time Ive done this and am feeling like a terrible mom today ) my poor hubby got such a fright he eventually went to sleep with T. I dont know what more to do with this child of mine, Im losing my temper with him and not being the person I want to be anymore. Im over tired and fed up, Sunday night he woke 4 times at night and last night he woke at 11 pm then 1h30 and stayed up until 4 am and then I had to get up 2 hours later. He wakes up screaming as if he is hurt or scared and thats what worries me its not a cry that is just for attention. On the bright side I dont rock him to sleep anymore he drinks his milk in his cot and falls asleep on his own.

Am I correct to think that this night waking is due to teething? I think this because I can see both the eye teeth cutting through or is there something wrong with my child that all the doctors and myself are missing. Sorry I just needed to vent

hahahaha...thanks ladies you guys made me feel a little less stressed. My daughter was unplanned, and so is this one. But i feel god has a plan for me and them thats why they are/will be here.

BF is not to impressed with this situation, as we dont know how to tell the parentals. YIKES...we haven't thought of marriage yet as we both feel we are not ready (as its just a piece of paper), and really dont want to be pushed into getting married.

Last night i had to just make sure that the first home pregancy test was correct so did 2 more...talk about DENIAL :) hehehe.

Other than all my stresses...im actually excited to be carrying number 2 :) now its just to go and check how far i am...do i go to my gp or what do i do?

Morning Ladies,

Nelria - I am not sure where she got that idea from. We are going to dr. Mostert on Tuesday then I will officially announce it after father's day. We need to tell my in-laws first. Did you know that Dr. Mostert is pregnant? Baby due in October.

Otherwise ladies I am doing fine. Jamie is going to a play school on the 1st of August, can't wait. He is looking for the interaction from other kids right now that this is the best thing I can do. I don't want to put him into a creche, want to wait till he is 3.

Have a great weekend.

hi ladies

cookie monster - whooooooooo hoooooooooooo girl - my gap is smaller LOL 19mnths conceived on purpose when lea was 10mnths old tried from 6mnths already

and LOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEEEEEEE it so much - great having small gap and priceless moments the 2 share so close in age

maureen shoeeeeeee close call - where did she come by the remark?

as for cows milk - ladies all professionels will have own guidebook so please listen to your own or what u like to do - I for one am a mummy that like to safe cash (rather save up for educations etc) so if they say its safe from minimul age i go for it - both my kids on cows milk from minimum age of 12mnths - both onto adult food from 8mnths (purity cost fortune)

but then again i also use hand me downs, no-name brand stuff etc - just my personality to always safe where i can (without harming of course)

xen eats well, gets supplements where needed where on extra iron from 6mnths(paed recommended) so formula, nappies, wipes, food etc i safe where i can :)

ok so had quite b-day for xen and picnic on sunday with fam so far enjoying it all

xx

Hello Ladies

I havent been on reply - but Ive definitely read everyones posts.

Congrats to ALL the june babies. Hope Mommies, Daddies, BABIES and siblings enjoy the festivities.

Kylie will be 1 tomorrow YEAH. Im taking the day: nanny will take the girls to the park for a picnic with all the neighbourhood friends. The big party is saturday and wooo is it stressing me!!

Kylie has 6 teeth with 2 new one's coming! She has been teething none stop for 6 weeks now and I cannot wait for a break!
She is running around like a pro and horror of horrors LOVES to climb. She can get on the couch and climbs on the kids chairs and is now attempting to climb up onto the coffee table and the safety gates *exasperated sigh*
She loves to eat with her hands and demands that she feeds herself (as u can imagine - all over the floors!) So we are not giving her much mushie foods!
She says a few words 'taa' mama' baba' ta-ta' but mostly she just demands by screeching 'EEEEEEEEE!!' She does a high5 and if you ask her to 'make nosey' she scrunches up her face LOL!
All in all - we love her to bits - she is a very funny little miss and keeps us hugely entertained. Big sis is doing a good job of helping lil sis along tho sometimes she does teach her to be too big for her boots!

Good luck for all the party planning still ahead - enjoy the weekend ladies and baba's
