Newbie - Girl, I think you must have serious skills. (the shower - really?!?) I am in admiration! When we had our week end @ friends holiday house in George, we had our son in our room, but holiday fever got the best of us, so we ended up in the bathroom, but it was such a laugh (felt like a naughty dating couple in moms house) trying not to laugh to loud, but just not being able to do things the way we used to. I've thought about the shower, but after that episode of arms and legs and tangle, I think the shower would be a slippery and wet accident waiting to happen

vickyvdw - How many weeks will you be then? surprised Gynie has agreed to move it earlier, new research shows that there is benefit to lungs and other organ development if they stay put till 38 - 39 weeks.

Ash - Yip c-section for me. EDD 28 July, c-section 15 July. I think she will surprise us with the 4 or 7th July. Don't know why, just have those dates ring true, gynie also says he'll be seeing me in the middle of the night for a c-section before scheduled date, so lets wait and see.

So many ladies that I have spoken to in the last 2 weeks had healthy, happy, big babies at 36 weeks. After 35 weeks baby is no longer considered prem.

ashbabe- funny enough he didnt directly mention anything about intimacy. i was told nothing strenuous.bla bla bla , so i kinda assumed "it" was off grounds.. its fine i dont mind the wait... actually tired and sore all the time anyway.. so it prob betta..

internals- when i was in hospital they didnt use any instruments it was purely just the gynaes hand- it was very very uncomfortable but i cant say actually sore.

yeah c- section is planned.i originally was supposed to do csec on 27 july but it is my birthday and want babba to have her own birthday. so it was gonna be the week after. but gynae said she is growing well and is over two weeks bigger than what she should be that he is happy to do it on the 20th instead... dont worry maybe baba will come earlier.. you might end up skipping the que.who knows....

yeah i agree i batled so long trying to log in from hospital maybe we should take each others cell phone numbers down.. or group ourselves into pairs. and if anything happens before hand we can just sms one person and know that the others will know.

ashbabe pm me and let me know your skype name and facebook name and maybe your cell number.. and ill send you mine.. that way we in contact... especially with our "scares".....

How are we all gonna keep in contact after we have had babies? i see how slow the june thread has got with all ladies having babies etc?
i have skype and i have face book but like we need a contact person for when we in labor and all cos i mean look what happened to me and i couldnt tell u ladies and also with vicky.

Ladies, r u all planning C sections??/ i see all these edd and then saying but it will be these dates, i am not judging at all i am just asking cos i am so far the 28th july and seem the longest of us all

u know this may just be me, but i been to a gyne loads of times and had loads of pap smears, internals etc but lately instead of them using the metal ones they use these plastic ones, clearly disposable which obv is alot hygenic but i have found that these are 10 000times worse then the metal ones, i hate having a internal now, esp with all the new weight HAHA

no ladies dont get me wrong im not planning on doing anything... i ve got to wait till the 20th not too far away...

breast pump-- it was the cheapest.. will just have to see i suppose not planning on using it long anyway...

ja ladies i know about the dry season aswell.. since our little scare. we havent done it either.. hes to scared it will start labour again or cause an infection.. and even though its uncomfortable at this stage ... i want him so badly... even dreaming about him

im seeing gynae again next week cant wait to hear what is her weigh.. its been basically a month.. last weigh in was 1.986kgs at 29 weeks.... what was your guys average pickup per week. ??

joc i agree this is my third pregnancy and theyve gotten progressively harder in every aspect.
