I simply cant afford to shop at woolies. Their veg stays fresh much longer, milk is creamier, meat softer and all that but i just cant. R100 for 1 meal at woolies can get me 3 meals at pick n pay. If i want something spesific and woolies has it sure but in general i cant. My brother is a manger at pick n pay and their ready packed meals are made by the same place that makes woolies meals.

I am scared to give Leah strawberries as its one of those hight allergy foods. And with my kids both showing allergy signs, one confirmed i will rathe rnot play with fire.

Leah:

05h00 left over milk from night bottle. about 100ml
08h00 Breakfast at creche - jungle oats, milie pap, creemy meal
09h00 Bottle of 150ml after breakfast
12h00 Lunch at creche - spaghetti bolognaise, chciken a la king, beef
stew etc
12h30 Tea or juice
15h00 150ml milk
18h00 butternut and sweet potato, creamed spinach, beans, carrots etc,
what i cook plus veg as listed
18h30 100ml milk if that, sometimes its 20ml and she sleeps

during the night she drinks about 200ml dont know what time cause i just feel for her mouth pop the bottle in and roll over.

The above times are all an estimate, when she is hungry i feed her, when is thirsty i give her a bottle.

Its like nappies, i use 4 nappies a day. Never had a rash or anything. Change her am when i get dressed, she uses 2 maybe 3 at creche and 1 before bed time.

Guys what size are your lo's feet? Leah is still only a 0 going into a 1, but 1's fall off in the walking ring and if she kicks. my son is 3 and wears a 9 or 10.

Im no sitting here like a crazy parent checking about what my child should be able to do!!!!! i think i drive myself insane sometimes!!!

So out of the 14 things my baby cant do the following:
- Begins to speak single (hard) consonants, like "dada"
- makes an attempt to feed herself
- no teeth, but thats okay

I have a strict budget and i have to stick to it. When i go shopping its with my list and calculator. Very depressing!!!

I dont even know how much we spend on Groceries every month...We do one big shop at Pick and Pay and thats usually R2000 with no meat and veggies. Then Veggies from Woolies. Chicken from Woolies. Fish from the Fishy Place. Meat from the German Butchery. I dont keep track of the costs

And Tyler well he doesn't have a budget!

For Amandalynn i use to give stage 1 purity and rice cereal. when stage 2 stated i made her food and froze it in ice cubes.

But with Lorelai i have tried all the stage 1 purity, oli etc but she does not like it. she pulls a face and spits it out. i have tried over and over again. she stated eating porridge at 3 months in the mornings and from 5 months morning and night. i give her what ever we are having for supper if i can mash it. the day mother does not give her rice cereal any more she gives her whatever she is making, usually weetbix or cooked porridge. but no sugar.

She has mostly 3 bottles a day some days 4. she does not like tea at all. i want her 2 drink it, how will i get her 2?

ja dont worry Elsa I feel u. H2B is such a big spender on nonsence. Thats why shopping with him is not cool! He buys way too many things thats soooo unneccesary! but then again we do use it eventually! Its just such a waist to spend R3000 on groceries every month. we buy our meat from the buchery and we buy like a whole cow so there is enough of everything in the freezer. We have way too much spices and other crap! but I only buy the normal stuff that we need like rice, pasta, cans and so on. Then the day to day stuff like milk and bread and veggies

The kids stuff is a whole new other bill by itself and that is a monthly expence! They are flippen expensive

M2B...the BlueBerries have lots of Antioxidants and more Vitamin C than Oranges so I thought I would try something different He liked it but then again he eats anything. Normally I buy all the Organic Veggies and Free Range Chicken and make him his food.

We buy quite a few things from Woolies, Wes is terrible always finds some new thing to try and we end up at the till with a huge Trolley when we were just going in to get Bread.
