Hi All

I need to ask. My daughter was born 27 Jan and for the last month she has been crawling - and she is fast - she has now in the last week started to hold on to things and pull herself up in a standing position and she stays in that position for a while then she falls back down. - but she cannot sit on her own. it doesn't make any sense to me. do any of your kids do that as well.

my other daughter talked before she could even sit and she sat @ 6months and only crawled at 8 months.

IS my baby weird?

Ingrid, Leandi gets seperation anxiety when she is not feeling lekker. When she teethed all she wanted was for mommy to hold her. I couldnt even put her down, she just wanted to be in the arms.
The only jarred food Leandi gets is Olli fruit and sometimes Purity fruit. I bought the Purity food once and it just grossed me out, i couldnt handle the smell of it so i just chucked the whole lot in the dustbin. Now i have a new motto, i will not give her anything i wont eat! She prefers her home cooked mini meals in anyway, so it works out well.

Stellie, glad dinner went down well last night. i think they all have their days. Leandi didnt eat much at "school" yesterday but last night she had her normal supper and had 2 bottles, where she usually has 1 !! Went to sleep at 9 and woke up for milkies at 4. Went straight back to sleep and woke up at 7. We usually dont set the alarm coz she wakes up just after 6 so we all overslept this morning.

Thanks Annalize, would have been great. Every bit helps. Was looking in seth cupboard on the weekend and i have no clue what i am going to do in the next few months, its getting hot and he has no summer cloths left that fit, all last seasons stuff is 18-24months and some but few 2-3 and his winter stuff is 4-5. They grow so fast. Looked through my kids prem cloths they wore at birth and cant belive it. i wanted to cry.

I guess my kids must have more of me lol although i can def see both thee\ir daddies clearly. will try post pics so you can see what i see lol.

Aribeth - your kids are beautiful. They do look like each other so they must both look more like you than their dads. Leah is so small. Bismarck is almost 10kg's as well so he is a little porker! Poor Logan! He has the upper hand at this stage but Im afraid he is going to chop off when Bismarck is bigger (which is almost) Logan weighs 11.5kg! Shocking I know!

Not one of my kids looks like me! i mean really! But Im definitely thinking that I will have another baby in about 2 years! Hopefully it will be a little girl! I REALLY want a little daughter! H2B is also keen but is still deciding. It all depends on our finances u know! They are blerrie expensive little monsters!

Ari, your babies are beautiful! I can definitely see the resemblance between your Seth & Leah. Is her hair also copperish? Leah is still so small! I can't keep up with C growing! Everyone thinks he is much older & everyone wants to know what I'm feeding him, but he doesn't even eat that much yet.

Sorry that you are so far away. I've still got loads of Lihani's clothes & some she barely worn. She also grown very quickly.

I also love to put clips & stuff in Lihani's hair, but lately she wants her hair to be loose & takes the clips out as soon as you put them in. I think they pull her hair @ creche when they comb it cause she starts screaming eina eina when she just sees the brush.

Cant believe how gorgeous little Christiaan is. Such a handsome boy! Soon enough he will be crawling all over the show! Nice that you have Lihani in her own bed now.

We also have 2 boerboels, but they sleep outside. Leandi has discovered them about 2 weeks ago. She loves it when Zenna licks her hand. When she is in her feeding chair they come in and stand on the kibbles box, greet her first and she always screaming with laughter, then they will go lie on their matjie. too cute.

Ps Suriya (sp) is preg, her lo was born in dec and the new lo is due 1 jan i think. She chatted with us briefly on PF.
