Pregnancy after D&C

Hi SH,

No problem, the baby looked perfect obviously very small about the size of the palm of my hand but everything else was in place , could even see little ribs , or what i thought looked like ribs . Dr said everything looked in place too said the ears were a bit low but that could change.

I wanted to know what gender it was but they couldnt tell me , they did Chromosome tests so I am sure once those results are back I could find out.

Welcome here Debbie (((hugs))) Sorry to hear about the MC and the part you had to go through...would you mind me asking what baby looked like? Sorry, if it is too personal, then please don't answer.

I don't call what happened to me a MC...it was more like still-born...twins was fine at 12weeks, at 16weeks there were no heart beats. Had to give normal birth...and 5weeks after I went for a D&C.

The ladies here are super supportive, here you can cry and vent and be angry or sad and we will understand

Debs 36 is not too old! There are a couple of ladies here on Moomie who had babies older! But I hear you on the biological clock! Haha! I also sometimes hear mine ticking away! Prefer to ignore it for now!

Oh my soul about the baby!! I probably would have fainted! Holy moly! I had my MC at 8 weeks and luckily nothing came out and I had a D&C. Had my MC June 2010.

I already have a LG that will be 2 end of March! Somehow it makes me feel better to know that I am capable to carry full term even though I had the MC!

Well the downside is that I am 36 , so can only hear my biological clock ticking at the moment , I have a daughter who is 16 , or 17 in 2 weeks as she likes to tell every1, I recently got married for the 1st time and my hubby doesnt have any kids , his 1st marriage too.

I had a MC in July '10 and now again , i think what was more "traumatic" for me this time is that when I MC'd, i went to the bathroom and wiped I ended up with my baby in my hand , very stressful, and we were in Clarens so had to get rushed to Bethlehem to be admitted for an emergency Evac.

Still waiting for results from tests but am begining to think that the Dr's arent going to be able to tell us much.

Ah no DebbieF! So sad that you ended up here and have to meet under such difficut circumstances! But Welcome none the less!! This thread has an AMAZING bunch of ladies! They helped me through my MC and will be there for you too! Feel free to rant and rave (like you saw I did - LOL) on here!

Have really enjoyed reading your comments & going on's .

I have migrated from the New Mommies May, June & July 2011, to Pregnancy after D&C , as I had a MC on Friday at 12 weeks .

Am glad to see that their are some ppl in the new mommies group a silver lining to a very grey cloud at the moment.
