So sorry to hear that Rassie. Its so unfair when we have to deal with so much all at the same time. All is can say is it does get a little easier as eac moh day goes by,but only if you mourn now. Like everyone else will say cry if you must and dont try act strong. Its been two weeks for me and I dont cry as much but its still hard seeing pregnant moms or moms with babies and like Jeanne says is about mourning about the what ifs.

Thinking of you and I have found a lot of answers here and support.

Hi
We were so lucky to fall pregnant with our first IVF. Had my first scan at 5w2d and all was fine, but had a traumatic few days.
Bad news on Saturday, fetus did not grow, so a missed miscarriage.
Had to take the Cytotec on Sunday, D&C on Monday.
Rushed to hospital Tuesday morning with extreme pain, turns out to be infection.
Stayed at home today, still sore and tender, and still trying to process everything.
Feels like I'm stuck in the wrong reality.
Going to take a break and then we'll decide on a new POA.
How long does it take for AF to return after D&C?

Hi there

I though i quickly say hi while dh is watching rugby. Im on a pastel course next week Monday, Wednesday and Friday and have a meeting on Tuesday. Actually i dont mind being busy next week looking forward to my scan on Saturday hoping to see the gender but not putting my heart on it as its at my dr not my gynea.

Got spoiled again this time by my moms fiance he bought me a safety matress and pillow for the campcot and baby bath and a towel.

For the big things i only need a pram and baby monitor and nappy bin and then its the endless list of small things which i will attend to after i had my storktea.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead.

Take care

Hi Mandz and welcome to this very special Moomie Group! I am so terribly sorry for your loss and the ladies have pretty much said everything already. The crying gets better over time but you will never forget your angel. I had a different experience I was pg with twins last year but lost one at 6 weeks and had an operation to remove him/her to try protect the remaining baby but alas it was not meant to be, our 2nd angel went to heaven at 12 weeks when my water broke. I went in for a D&C that same night and spent weeks mourning the loss and asking why me??? Our Dr said to wait 3 months but when i phoned him 5 weeks later he said just wait as long as you want and suggested waiting for 1 cycle at least. We ended up waiting 3 months as we had a booked holiday to Thailand and thought it would be nice to TTC while relaxed and holiday and viola I am now 25 weeks pregnant. Don't put too much pressure on yourself and DH to get the BFP first time just try to enjoy the BD and time with your DH. We will all be thinking of you and hope you get all the love and support you need xxxxxxxx

hi there

Mandz Mil bough us a plant that we named jnr to remind us of the lo we lost and after being in full bloom its only doing it now again the most pretty pink flowers and for some reason that makes me think that my lo was a girl, just maybe im crazy??
Mandz the only time i was happy about Af was the 1st month after my d&C because i had the on and of bleeding for 4 weeks i counted didnt count that for a period got my 1st af 16 sept my d&C Was 10 Aug.

I also made a scrapbooking page with the scan pic and pg test.

The lady who works with me also had one but she handles it different she dont talk about it and say also things like there was nothing etc. She admitted some time back that its hard for her to see me pg, and what makes it worse both her sil and sister is pg and me who works with her.
I told her she must get married 1st the reason i say that her relationship with her fiance is not stable and i think a baby should be born in to a loving home.

So glad its Friday.

Im pretty sure i felt my lo move last night and what a feeling!!!

Cant wait till next saturday for my next scan.

Take care and may you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi Mandz,

Meags mentioned on our BBM group re your very heartbreaking news. I am so extremely sorry for your loss.

I am not on here often, but I care very much for these ladies.

Can I suggest you light a candle for your loss, or do something to symbolise and remember (plant a flower?). People who have not had a miscarriage cannot know that anguish and it never leaves you, I still mourn my 4 babies I lost (BO was different, I was young and really did not want to be pregnant) are on my mind in my quiet moments.

My quick history:
I have had a blighted ovum (April 2003) and 3 m/c's (ranging Sept 2009 - May 2010) I did a lot of research online because I am a facts girl and that pulled me through (and of course some very special ladies). For me having Rowan healed a very sore heart - in fact I did not tell anyone (even moomie) until I was 13 weeks pregnant. I am pregnant again (found out at 18 weeks) with a little girl due 23 July 2012.

Again - so sorry and I hope you find comfort here (sue wine and chocolate in a huge way) xo

4 m/c's: 1 2003; Sept 2009 twins; Dec 2009; May 2010.

April 20 2011 c-section - Rowan 3.18kg (My Clexane miracle)
14 July 2012 c-section - Gemma 2.9kg (My total surprise miracle)
