ah Mandz you are doing great so glad you are finding comfort here. Its suuch a grea place!! Ja my older sister said something similar to your dh she said (insensitively-she is a cow) oh it was a false pregnancy. I pointed out not true it was a real pregnancy; there was conception and as u say it was something you and dh created but it did not progress sadly. I was told the good thing about a blighted ovum is that it sows your body can fall pregnant and its happening ,more and moe these days just an inexplicable factz! Keep readimg and sharing!!! Night night!!! Xxx

HI Mandz,

I am so Sorry for you loss , and it doesnt matter what anyone else says it is a loss.

I have had 2 BO and 1 MC at 12 weeks , and even reading your post brings tears
back, I think the ladies have said it so well and the best is to express your feelings
and here we do not judge cos we all had those feelings and have had the wonderful support of these ladies - they have been my silver lining.

Think most Dr only suggest to wait for 1st AF to date your pg no other reason, when you are ready "Go for it!" .

Also from experience you find that dh's just deal with the loss differently to us ladies.

BIG HUGS.
D

See.... I knew this would help :-) Thanks ladies!

Cathm and Angi, thanks for the kind words. I think it helps to talk to people who have been through this.

Jeanne- You made me cry, but because you are so sweet. You knew what I needed to hear. Sorry to have taken you down memory lane. Yes we mourn the what would have beens---love how you worded that one. Its like the in laws are overseas at the moment and when we found out DH sent a message saying there is no baby- I think he said it like it was but I cant see it that way. I mean dont get me wrong he has been through hell too, he was so excited etc. But I definitely wont say that, for me that was a a creation of ours that just didnt carry on growing or forming. And I agree when we find out we are pregnant everything you do and say and decide is around bubs in tummy. From finances and logistics around gynae appointments....all the way through to not sleeping on your tummy or back at night! Its like when I got home and went to bed- I said to DH guess I can sleep on my tummy again. :S I agree with the whole "for you to say " thing. Thanks for the insight into what to expect in the way of AF. I must be honest I am not hellbent on falling pregnant like this week(seriously BD is the furthest thing from my mind-poor DH). My concern was just I dont want to fall pregnant if it is not medically advisable. I didnt really think to ask outright but I know gynae would have told me if there was an issue. I think we will just amble along and hope it happens naturally again and without going through the dreaded monthly BFN. Again thanks for such a lovely message, understanding and saying what I needed to hear.

Belaine- Ok so your message made me cry more- that book and story gave me the shivers. Thanks, you also made me feel way better.

KLK-Congrats on the baby on the way. What exciting times. And thanks for that-trust me I cry. I had a melt down in the car on Tuesday when Nianell's- Life's gift was playing on the radio

LucyW- I agree Moomie has been a great help for me- though I think I only joined quite late in my pregnancy.

Thanks so much for the messages and welcoming me :P

I am going to try read back a bit on the forum... try get to know who is who and who is preggie :cheer: or TTC ....

Hi Mandz

I had a BO. I still mourned the loss of a child. Like you say.... you had already made plans and stared picturing your future with your new LO. For me what helped me process it is talking about it a lot (mainly here on moomie as these ladies are a very sympathetic ear)

You try again as soon as you are ready to!! I fell preggy really quickly when I had the BO and then battled after that. After 8 unsuccessful cycles I did A.R.T. and it worked first time and I have a little one year old girl now !!

We will be here for you and share this journey with you.

Take care and huge hugs
Lucy xx

Joybaby - I just LOVE your statement about ".....that is for me to say......" that is so true and rang so true for me. Wow !!! Amazing how powerful the emotions are so far down the line. But even that gives me comfort that my sleeping angel is definately NOT forgotten, and never will be!!

Hi Mandz

I dont know if you saw on our other thread, i had a blighted ovum and I told you more or less how it was for me.
This forum really helped me a lot here you can just be yourself. Im really thinking of you in this emotional rollercoaster time and there is no right way to deal with this. Take it day by day.
The crying will get easier but it never disappear some nights i still find myself crying about my little one that i have lost. and i wonder was it a boy or a girl, mine would have been due 22 March, being pg makes it easier but you never forget, that child is forever in your heart.

Someone told me about a book and i want to read it its about heaven it was this little boy who nearly died and had a heaven experience. He told his mother how God took him to his little sister that he didnt knew of and God didnt gave her a name because He is waiting for her parents to come give her a name.
His mother didnt tell anyone about the mc she had at 7weeks so she knew he was telling the truth.

Our angels is waiting for us and one day we will be able to hold them and give them names.

Take care

Agh Jeanne you are sooo kind! What a lovely message you wrote! I think it also shows that all of us deal wtih things differently and I know I got great comfort knowing I wasn't alone when it happened to me, probably why I could deal quite speedily with it. You are a kind, good woman and it's awesome you are going to be a mom again!

Mandz, you'll get there, I'm really sorry for the pain you are experiencing now.
