Sounds like you had a good night out. The key with leaving little Connor is to trust the people he's with even if he's a bit difficult. Sounds like he is in good hands and I hope you get more opportunities like this while its just the 3 of you!

Chan aches and pains are so difficult to explain. If its worse than period pain and sharp then I'd have it checked out for peace of mind. If it's more dull then maybe its just your body stretching. I would've slapped the receptionist for making any suggestions! She doesnt know your history etc.
Is it still there? I'm sure its nothing to worry about but if its going to bug you esp over the w/end then rather get hold of the stand in gynae.

Sounds like u had a positive day! Langebaan is great, but can be icy this time of year so pack warmly And stay out of central Cpt on game nights, its chaos.

I'm working from home today. Eventually sent gynae an SMS. He phoned straight away. Said it sounds like some gastro, and to lay low for 48hrs and follow usual gastro guidelines re food, and assured me that it does not pass to baby which was my main concern. So I'm working from home today. If it's contageous, I dont want to be spreading the germs. Thankfully my boss understood.

I am so over winter & this weather! It stays cold throughout the day, doesnt get any warmer. And we have a lovely gas heater which we use every winter, but since being pg it gives me bad headaches so cant use it. DH does not seem impressed...

Haloooooo. Anybody there?

Wow wow en nog n keer wow! On two things. And I almost fell on my back by the way, although, with number 2 I was still on my back!

1. The STATE gyni that did my d&c phoned yesterday to find out how I am doing! He went on holiday to egypt right after my d&c, and the doc that did follow up blood test was on holiday when he got back. And he is very happy, says I dont have to come for follow up. (I want to go to my private gyni anyway before we ttc again)

2. Dh boss told him this morning that he should take 1 week off after the school holiday, and then we should go to Langebaan. He has a timeshare there, and he wants us to use it. He also says that after all the drama we went through he thinks that we need it! (its 570km from our home). And the way I have come to know him, he will give him something xtra for petrol, ect.

I am super excited, we havent had a proper holiday since the dec before dds birth. (thats 2005/2006 holiday)! Visiting family is not a holiday.

Hi everyone. So I have just decided I will NEVER NEVER EVER leave my ironing for sy long. (klk, remenber how we spoke about ironing weeks ago? Its THAT ironing! Finally did it today.)

Chan, I hate it when the docs arent available! My ob said I can sms him when something is wrong. (that was now with everything that happened) Hope the pain goes away.

Klk- we dont get out that much alone. No one to look after the kids! And I hate that. I am so tired of sitting at home each and every day. Week in and week out. Even weekends!

Girly- I got a tummy bug 2 times when pregnant with dd and regular colds. And its not nice, glad you feeling better.

AFM - Yes we did get the bd in (Girly) !!! I took my temp this morning to see where I am. It was halfway up so I think O day was yesterday!! Left ovary is still tender though

Lucy I really hope you caught that eggie this month! I'm so glad you're more relaxed now since your gynae assured you it's only a matter of time!

AFM had a really bad pain in my lower tummy since yesterday. Phoned doc this morning but he's on leave. His receptionist (you know how i love getting advice from them!!!) said it's ligament pain and that I must just try take it easy and keep my feet up. If it gets worse I must phone back later.

Hey ldies sorry every time i get a gap, i seem to be doig all the things ive put on hold. Wow is mother hood hard work!

My little girl has graced ourselves with smiling, but everytime we try catch it with a photo its gone! and try get her to do it again is a mission! lol

We had our first family sleep over at Oumas and Oupas this weekend, she was a star!

Sleeping is great, from about 11:30 till 6am most days. hope she keeps that up.

This place really is quiet? Must be the cold weather brrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Girly so glad you are feeling better, was quite concerned about you.

We actually went out for dinner on Tuesday night and my in laws baby sat. I did make the reservation for 8 though so i would be here to do his bedtime routine and that he would be in bed by the time we left, well he had other plans ended up not wanting to sleep so had to leave him with him awake. Thankfully she managed to get him to sleep or else i wouldnt have had a good night. I even let her bath him and get his pj's etc on (with me watching of course) She really needs more practice on the nappies though, Connor woke up drenched the next morning. So this was a very big step for me as this is only the 1st time in 13 months that Lance and i have gone out together (without Connor). It didnt go too badly so im sure we'll do it more.
