Pregnancy after D&C

Hi Girly and all the others.

Feeling very tired this morning. Guess its the after effects of the chemo shot. Lost almost a kilo from yesterday, coudnt stand food. Other than that, only my head that hurts, and I am feeling constipated. But thats the hormones still doing their job!

So far no pain and no bleeding other than the spotting. This shot doesnt work the same as cytotec. It kills and shrinks the pregnancy and then it gets reabsorbed. They use this medication with early etopics.

Anyway, done some research, and operation is the last resort. They firs try it chemically. This is called a csection scar pregnancy, and its a rare form of an etopic. Its very very rare!

Got into contact with a lady from Pensilvania. Hers did rupture 5 months ago, but did not end in her loosing her uterus! And it looks like she would be able to have more kids. They are going in with a camera in next couple of days to see how she has healed. She has 1 ds, and 3 angle babies(2 lost in 20 odd weeks).

Guess this all means that I wont be ttc this year again. As my scar will need time to heal.

LOL Girly - Don't stress about the weight gain. You have healthy baby and when you breast feed it will melt off! Where the pics?

How long has it been since the MC and did DH know that this would be the start of trying again? Maybe he doesnt know how else to deal but stay away?
For me though - my husband would be in the hugest sh*t pile ever if he switched off his phone, and didnt come home when expected. There's no excuse for that, as anything could happen and wouldnt even know where to start.

I think you should sit down and talk with him. Maybe he's finding trouble dealing with the loss, and they dont always want to be seen as struggling as they want to be strong for us.

AFM a little depressed about my weight gain so far I know its entirely my fault, I have not watched my food intake, and I need to be more disciplined, but those vanilla cupcakes keep calling at me!

Oh Karatemum, one word MEN!! Im sorry that you are going through this. Unfortunately, just like Lucy said, Men are a species of their own....we'll never understand them.

KarateMum - Men are a different species and can be really impossible sometimes!! They do have an amazing ability to do the perfect thing too and make up for everything!! I hope you get surprised!!
Perhaps he is grieving and trying to deal with the MC too. I hope it all works out again. Big hugs to you. Try to get some sleep and ace that interview tomorrow.

Esmari - Shame no, I hope it doesn't come to that for you hugs and prayers my friend I am so sorry for this news you received I hope the injection works and all is well over the next few days till you see him again.

AFM - No idea what is going on with my so called hubby now, we were meant to start the BDing today but he didn't come home, seems he is in a nasty mood for some reason (I'll probably get the blame) he turns his phone off when I call and now it's off. If this carries on I guess May won't be our month either - not in a happy place at the mo, and I really don't have the strength to deal with this and my interview tomorrow I guess it's another night of crying myself to sleep Am I really such a bad person that I deserve this?
