Pregnancy after D&C

Hello sweeties!!

How are you all doing?

Connor is no longer crying now to sleep in his bed but now gets hysterical if DH and I go out which he never used to. So not looking forward to school oh boy.

Ladies, I have something to tell you, I couldnt before as it was just too emotional for me but Im ok now. Seems I may have had a chemical pregnancy this month I spotted as per usual but this time instead of getting heavier, my spotting stopped so last Sunday afternoon (2 days before AF was due) I did a HPT as I had so many signs and got a + (feint 2nd line). Didnt want to say anything until I knew for sure, so did another test on Monday morning with a different brand and got another + but very feint. Decided to wait a day or so and would test again but instead AF arrived with all her glory. Was the worst AF ever - heavy and i had the most terrible cramps. So I am not 100% sure but I reckon it was one. Sue? What were your experiences? Anyhoo, that is my news for now, I was absolutely devastated, I think I cried for 2 days straight but like I mentioned, I am ok now. I have an appt with another FS this Friday, hopefully he will be loads more helpful than the other idiot I went to.

ChanM - Glad to hear it is going a little better with your LO , maybe the teething was also affecting his sleep, 4 times a night , I shudder and think so I know what I am getting into ?

AFM - not much happening , working my A ** off , been looking for a confirmation dress for my daughter , it is in Oct , still in 2 minds if we are going to have it made or buy 1 ? I have been so moody lately wondering if AF is around the corner or a HPT ?

ChanM I started the Provera on Tuesday night so taken 3 of 5 tablets. AF should arrive sometime next week. fx

I hope Kade's infection clears up soon!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Been reading posts everyday though!

Lucy - mom's are almost always right!!! Well done for picking it up early! Hopefully it'll clear up now that she's on meds. Kade's just never cleared even with all the meds to dry it up hence the grommets being put in!

Good luck with her first tooth coming through! Shame it's so sore for them! Kade's came through last week and he's so proud of that little tooth now!

Angi & Sue not long to go now until your appointments! Can't wait to see scan pics!!

Klk hope Connor is starting to settle! Well done on persevering!

Debbie great idea about seeing another gynae! Even if it is only in November - time flies it'll be here before you know it!

Dinky have you started the Provera yet?

AFM no news really. Kade has another ear infection. ENT specialist says it's from bath water getting into his ears. So got antibiotic drops and Aterax to dry it up. Thank goodness the grommet is still in and doing it's job. He's ear is draining loads of crappy stuff but at least it's coming out. What a difference it makes having the grommet in. He's not sick with it at all and no temerature. And the best part is the Aterax makes him sleep so i've only been getting up 4 times a night now!! Feels amazing!!!

So it's almost Friday - YAY!!!

Debbie, I agree with klk, but I suppose since you already have the appointment you might as well go...

klk, I am sure he will get used to it soon. It's probably not the bed itself it's probably the change that is making him unsettled. Hoping for your sake it doesn't take too much longer!

Angi can't wait to see your bean! You must be so.... excited! I know I would be!!!

Dinky - I have heard of using the provera. Hope it works quickly so you can get back in the saddle again.

Klk - Poor Connor!! I hope he does get used to it soon. Did he end up having his molars come through? I think Tessa's first one is about to pop through any day now. It is her eye tooth!! Weird I know.

A little afm !! Tessa is doing well, must be about 8 kg's now. I took her to the doctor yesterday as she occassionally tugs on her ears. I know it can be self soothing but it wasn't normal for her and something just said check it out. Anyway she was doing her usual flirt with strangers and cooing and smiling at the doctor while I was explaining why I was there. So he says to me that usually a smiling baby that is eating and sleeping is not a sick baby. So I said that is fine but then i'll have peace of mind if I know all is well !!! Guess what she has fluid in her middle ear. Clever Mommy!! Anyway my poor uncomplaining sausage has to have allergex and cortisone. So glad I caught it early and have avoided antibiotics.
Oh and not sure if I have alrady mentioned this but from 4 and 1/2 months old my monkey has been wearing 6-12 month clothing! Grrrrr the outfits she has never worn let alone only worn once!
