Pregnancy after D&C

I am so terribly sorry for your loss! You have come to the right place - the ladies here are awesome. Advice from me is to allow yourself to feel whatever emotions surface. Cry if you need to, be angry if you need to and talk if you need to. There is always someone who is willing to listen. All of us have been trough the pain you are feeling now, some more recently than others and we are all dealing with it in our own way but we know we have each other to turn to when it all gets too much or we aren't getting the answers we need. Morning Everyone,

I lost my baby at 12 wks on Sunday Night. My water broke and there was no fluid around the baby. It was a difficult pregnancy with lots of pain and bleeding an I lost the twin at 6 weeks. No idea why this happened and cried for hours but my family and friends have been great. After 12 hours of trying they sucessfully induced me and had 2 hrs of labour then straight into D&C. Still in hospital feeling a bit fragile. Any advice on where to go from here?

Sue, how did your appt go today?

FS room's called and they asked if I could come in tomorrow instead as the doctor is too busy on Friday so tomorrow is the day. I really hope that he has a good POA for me. Will let you know when I get home.

Hi Everyone Sorry I have been MIA - had flu for four days and new people starting at work that I have to help settle in so been run off my feet and then I get home and collapse into slumber!

How are we all doing?

Klk I just saw your post now, sorry haven't read everything but that definitely looks like you had a chemical friend. Good news is that your body is ready to conceive. Remember I had a chemical the month before I fell pregnant! Hang in there!

So we did a urine test on the weekend that we got from Dischem which is supposed to predict the sex of your baby and according to this one it says we are having a boy! Will have to wait and see. Scan is at 3h30 this afternoon.

Chan - hope it is just teething and it will pass soon

Angi - that is so awesome! Feel like jumping up and down for you!

klk - hope your persistence pays off on Friday fx

AFM: I am feeling particularly cheery today - after feeling like a thundercloud yesterday! I hope this lasts - it's a nice change Still no AF but doc said to wait 3 days after last pill which was on Sat night

Thanks my friends, appreciate it all the well wishes. Like I said, I have no idea if it was or just a faulty test. The 2nd test there was a line but you really had to strain to see it. Had to ask DH to see if he could see it too, which he could. I really dont know. One thing I do know is, I will NEVER test early again! Its way too heart sore

Lucy, How is gorgeous Tessa? Yes, im going to Hansen. I could only get an appt in November but have been put on standby on Friday, so I have got to be prepared to sit there the whole day if necessary

Chan, you really are having a tough time with this little lad of yours. What do you give him for the teething? Connor's worst teeth were his canines and first load of molars. 2nd load has been okish. Didnt even realise that his 2nd bottom ones had come out until I had a feel. Top ones still to come though.
