Virginmary@ i didnt mean to offend you in any way , i was just stating the facts from experience and stats. I was not talking about men who are ill mentaly or in similar cases to yours then its different as they would not be doing it intentionally but a man who does this intentionally because he wants to feel in control or powerful from hurting women not even mentioning children doesnt deserve freedom i believe. fahaway@ i would love to read your blog ill try and search for it.

Here's my story.... feels like it happened only yesterday but it's been 9 yrs!

I’m a survivor as well. It happened in 2001 while I was still in varsity. This was done by a man who regularly visited me at res and my friends knew him but we were not dating yet. One Friday I promised to cook for him and he called to say he was working late and would still pass by for supper.

He came around 7pm, we ate and he asked if I wanted to go out for a movie. I agreed and off we went to his place first. We got there and had some coffee/drinks. Out of nowhere, the guy started fondling me and wouldn’t stop. I said NO so many times but he continued. I realised what was about to come and asked him if he was going to rape me…. His response was, “you are not a virgin…”. By then he had pinned me down, I couldn’t fight him off. He went ahead and raped me, then slept as if nothing happened.

I had to wait for him to take me back to res since there was no way I could get back on my own. In the morning he dropped me off at res. I remember how green and red my thighs were from bruising and how my privates hurt! I wanted to report the rape but thought, who would believe me seeing that I’ve been seen with him at res so many times, people probably thought he was my boyfriend – (I was so shocked, I wasn’t thinking rationally).

I eventually went through therapy in 2005/2006 cause the incident had affected the way I related to men in my relationships.

fawaway @ I can't seem to find your blog sorry I tried guess I'm still "stupid" when it comes to searching for stuff lol

virginmary @ I don't think Nels-n ment anything by saying what she did, she didn't meen to offend anyone it's just the way she feels and not all out there have a problem like your son, and I must say I am truely sorry to know that you have to face facts from such a young age, I will pray with you that your son never have an urge to hurt anyone in this way. But thank you for the info, once more most rapists out there does not contain any health problems like him they do it coz it makes them feel like they have some sort of power...so there is always to sides to stories and yet, I feel that a normal person who does this to women and their family stands behind them...then they all are sick, coz justice just doesn't make sence anymore...if I had a "ill" person who did this to me I probly would've been able to acept it in a way...but they are not ill they are sick

Try wordpress.com - their blogs are pretty easy to get started.

I started a blog without even reading another blog, so you sort of start and figure it out.

Make some mistakes and just keep chipping away at it.

It looks a bit overwhelming initially, but once you get going, it takes on a life of it's own.

Location: CY country
Off spring: 3 (ages range from 2 - 9 years old)

Struggling to juggle life, kids, work, my bottle of wine, without having a total humour failure.

I have a letter from my pdoc to say I am insane, so tread lightly with me, some days I can be a total bitch. I'm lying. Most days I am a total bitch.

I abhor smiley face icons. Just saying.
