Wow! we reached a pg 2!!!! Yippee....

Well glad to see some are new and some very dear to me, thank you all again for making this forum worth reading and thank you for giving your support to those in need of it...

Meags @ I'm very sorry to hear about your abusive relationship, but very happy that you've managed to get the hell out....awesome...the main thing to remember is that you are a very strong woman and still among the living, now it's up to you to keep your little light bright and your smile warm. Thank you for being here and being part of this thread...we have alot here who is willing to chat and as fawhaway said we all do believe it was rape...but we all here for support.

Nels-n @ This is a sad thread but everytime I open this thread I pray that we will all be here to share and support each other. My rapist has not yet been near justice, police have no idea as to who he is or where so he's still out there hurting women and it kills me to know that he is walking around knowing that he can get away with this...I pray that one day he will die a slow and painfull death...cruel but true...I want him to suffer, I want him to think of all he has done not just to me but to all the victims in his life time...I read in the papper this morning about a rapist getting 3months jail time without bail....WOW! three months ladies....and the woman must live (either with or with out aids/std's) for the rest of her live and he gets 3 months...God must bless SA for as i'm not the president, but if I was....they would pay back for all they've done 100x and more...."lift your head up high keep your chin up and cheeks dry..." Thee these are the words I say to myself each day...it works in a way lol

fawhaway @ I wrote a book too, but I don't know if it's worth to publish, and it's raw as I was...but I would love to read your's some time will star t to tipe mine onto the pc and mail it as soon as i've done it...but it's not worth publishing hehehe there are so many books published on this and still we don't get any justice.....It will always be I SAY HE SAID.....our words are nothing but air....

Wilma @ I wish there was a legal way as to do the name and shame list but like I said it might cause more pain to ppl than good...and there are some women that are married/mothers/sisters or how ever to these men who has no idea what they did...not all of them are pethetic....in all honesty if my son ever does anything like this I would personally send him to jail with no doubt in my mind...I would never be able to forgive him...as to me this is worse than murder...

KKROSE @ thank you for viewing this thread and please feel welcome to explore it more...any questions...I will be more than happy to answer...

Well take care MWAH!

FF ;)

There is so many strong inspirational women on this forum. I also wish we could name and shame these bastards who think they can do as they wish and get away with it. The pathetic women who stand by these rapists and peadofiles must wake up and smell the roses.

meags it was rape and i say that because my story is the same as yours and i was definetly raped. i had blood all over my panties when he was done and i wasn't a virgin then so it wasn't that. i didn't fight him and went still and very quiet and let him do his thing. he made me shower afterwards too. i layed a charge the next evening only because i was stayin at my aunt and then my parents didn't want me to lay a charge. it took my dad years to acknowledge what happened. the guy as a result didn't even get arrested and in the end the state prosecutor told me it wouldn't get to court because i had no evidence and it was his word against mine and i decided to not pursue it further because i didn't want to have to go it alone as every one in my family was iN denial. i have written a book about it but its on our computer and the power supply has packed in. once we get it fixed. . if ever i don't mind emailing it to whoever wants it. i haven't taken it to try get it printed or edited yet but one day i would like it published.

Meags@ Its hard to except these things most of the time because we sometimes feel its our fault and have too many whys' unfortunately we cant answer because there will never be a good or understandable answer. FF@ Thanks again for a wonderful thread. I look at my son today and feel so blessed that i can be a better mother to him. Its sad that the mind can never erase bad things but easily forgetts beautiful memories. I find it disturbing that the first people to bail out rapists and criminals are the mothers, wife or girlfriend because society seems to applaud these types of behaviour and turn a blind eye. what can be done im honestly saddened by this.

hi fancy face

thanks for the quotes :)
I think the reason I never spoke to anyone about my ordeal is because I still am not sure it was rape?!

Since then I was (and I'm proud to say WAS) in a relationship where I was sexually abused. for me, this has been far worse and so much harder to deal with. That relationship ended more than 3 years ago but to this day, it upsets me.
I studied psychiatric nursing and our lecturer made us keep a journal. I ended up writing my whole experience in that journal and although I think she was so shocked to read it, I felt so relieved after finally telling someone what happened

Hi to all here,

I've gone threw my "scrapbook" the "healing-book" I started after my rape...

I got to a page where I wrote down some quites... Here are some to inspire you...

* "Experience is not what happens to you, it's what you do with what happens to you"
-Aldous Huxley

* "When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place"
-Unknown

* "Instead of giving myself a reason why I can't, I give myself a reason WHY I CAN"
-Unknown

* "One has to remember that every failure can be a stepping stone to something better"
-Col. Harland Sanders

* "If you made mistakes, there is always another chance for you, you may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this we call "FAILURE" is NOT the falling down, BUT the staying down"
-Mary Pickford

* "Everything will be okay in the end...If it's not okay, IT'S NOT THE END"
-unknown

* "If one dream should fall and brake into a thousand pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again"
-Flavia Weedn

* "If you're going through hell,keep going"
-Winston Churchill

Keep smilling, as at the end of each dark tunnel is a light....sleep well...
