Where about in JHb? I live in the Northern suburbs! Which hospital will you be using?

I saw the towelling ones at Jet on TV Think they R20 will get some now for when LO is bigger as I think they affordable! Ok so the hooded baby grows I can also maybe get!

How do the other mommies feel about pacifiers? I got one with the Avent newborn starter kit I got and don't want to buy another pacifier just LO doesnt like them!

Mommy21 I am from Johannesburg and I also want natural, but definitely doing the epidural thing....

I went and bought some clothes today, think my little girl will have enough for the first couple of weeks... The toweling babygro's seems to work nice, everyone said I must get some for when they sleep at night... so I got all different colours... still looking for a green one though!!

Mommy21 - once they get bigger the hoods are not such a problem, it is just when they are so tiny and a newborn

Vision, thanks for the tip, saw some really cute baby grows that look like bear fur @ ackermans was thinking of getting them in bigger sizes(3-6) but they have hoods

Yes our due dates are close... are you having natural birth or c-section?
Our LO is a girl as well, we are very happy and can't wait anymore!

Sleeping is such a struggle for me, the bump is in the way, so I know we are not going to sleep well with the baby and all, but I think we will be more comfortable than now, I am looking forward to that!!!

I have a suggestion with clothes - try to avoid anything with a hood as I found it didnt fit right and I was scared it would strangle my little girl
