Mommy21, I don't think you have to be worried. Most babies drop, it is just them getting into gear for coming out and that does not mean she will make her appearance within the next week. :) My baby never dropped and I had to live through comments that she will stay inside another six weeks blah blah blah. I also couldn't breathe, she was too high.

And legally, your job can't fire you. What job do you do?

Mommy21 - I wouldnt worry too much. Babies drop at different times. My LG was low for quite a while before she came. It just is uncomfortable because it puts lots of pressure on your pelvis.

I am sure you will have your job when you come back - The company by law has to keep your position for you :)

Pinky I am also from Roodepoort. I went to Wilgeheuwel hospital :)

HI Ladies B)

Havent been here in days been rather busy with work and home stuff! Training the guy who will be standing in for me...I can't wait till I go for maternity leave but so scared I won't have a job when I come back :( :(

Last night had a somewhat rough evening my baby seems to have 'dropped' I am not sure if this makes sense but she's not as high up as she was a week agao and I am feeling alot of pressure on my pelvis area! My Mom seems to think its normal as I am now 33 weeks and baby is preparing to make her way out!!!

Am I paranoid to think something is wrong????

I use the Tommee Tippee bottles and pacifiers. What we did was cut the top off the pacifier, because it kept on hitting my LG's nose. I use the rubber pacifiers and they are GREAT! Also like the bottles a lot.

Tommee Tippee looks nice but got the Avent starter kit as a gift! If she doesnt like Avent then TT is next on my list.

I had considered Olivedale as it is close to my place but ended up choosing Brenthurst as I'd been there before and was happy with their clinic. Will be changing Dr's tho not too happy with mine at the moment
