Kaylae, we miss you. Hoping and praying that you will heal and find comfort.

Kimika, I found that, even if the pool is heated and indoors, it is still very cold to get out. And I'm talking out of experience as I had to get into the pool with my LB. It is not fun and my LB cried some times when I took him out of the pool. I am sure they can heat the place better on the inside, but still I would wait if I were you.

Schatsie, you will have the big boy and I will have the big girl... (See my AFM at the end).

Ameera, I do remember you. I also remember crying buckets full behind my desk at work . I am so glad that you have been blessed with another miracle and hope he/she will help you heal.

Meags, we should arrange a Moomie meet when you are this side. Would love to see your little man then. I really hope you can sort the pain of the bunch of grapes out before Mat is born. I also have my bunch, but no pain at all. Some bleeding at times which usually scares the cr@p out of me (thinking it is vaginal blood). Not long to go for you now, hey! So exciting!!!

AFM: Went for my 31 week and 5 day gynae visit (let's round it to 32 weeks). It seems I will have a 4.4kg baby at full term... Currently weighing in at 2.2kg. And none of the usual signs that she will be here early. Gynae says that a first baby born early doesn't guarantee that the 2nd will be born early. There is currently like in 0% calcification of the placenta (a lot of calcification by 34-35 weeks with 1st one), the amniotic fluid is still more than enough (decrease can indicate eminent birth), and the diafragm is still moving (where it keeps still if a baby is close to being born). So, it seems little or no discount for me this time. I am almost disappointed . It means 8 more weeks, where I could have had only 3 more for example. And of course I will have to push this little giant out... I just hope that my gynae is pro-natural and doesn't insist on CS. I know I can do it .

Joli - I keep forgetting to comment on the nappies!! Sorry! I had a look but I have decided to go with the cherub tree. They work just like disposables and what I like about them is that they are one size from birth to potty. It seems with the ones you posted you need to buy for different ages. (and they quite a bit more expensive!)

Kaylae - Big hugs and take care. Really appreciated you posting.

Karin - I am so glad all is well and you are so happy. I wondered if you were still worried about the DS. What wonderful news!! Enjoy.

Kimika - The prices are very interesting hey, also how they vary from dr to dr. I will keep a record of mine too.

Hi Ameera/Amy-b and welcome to our thread! I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your son last year! I can only imagine how traumatic that must've been and you're very brave to be trying again!

So tell us more about you: where are you from, how old are you, what work do you do, etc..

You've joined our thread at a very exciting time: we've had 6 babies born so far, 4 boys (one was born almost 2 months prem and is perfectly healthy) and 2 girls and expecting the next baby in about 2 weeks.

Hope you feel very welcome here very soon and I'm sure Kimika will add your due date to our list on page 1 soon.

Oh my word Ameera - I've got goosebumps all over!! Welcome back. I still remember so clearly and still remember how you posted whilst in labour and each day after baby was born . So happy that you've got another little angel on the way. You must be so happy, but so nervous at the same time. Do you know whether it's a boy or girl now?

I think most of the bill is the hospital stay. I never stayed with Megan and never had any pain relieve either and then total bill was just over R5000. Callum's bill was over R100K - not sure just for the c-section only.

I can't go to UIF as DH took the printer, so I can't print - will have to go on Thursday.

Kimika - OH so yesteday Callum's poo was also a bit greenish and slimy he he so seems to be normal.

Cath - thx for the little prayer - I'm sure all will go well on Thursday.

I don't really want to wait with swimming lessons for Megan so I'm gonna try again tomorrow. It's a heated pool so she can swim in winter. I need her to get out of the house a bit and away from the TV. She's just at home the whole day which isn't good for her and I thought if she can swim at the gym, then I can get some exercise at the same time

LOL meags I know I don't even have preggy brain to blame anymore! The babies are all beautiful!

How are you feeling today, I said a prayer for you last night, I hope that each day the situation gets better and better. I really admire you for trying to be positive when in such physical pain it's bloody ridiculous! And to have what seems like so little relief I mean really!!! I hope the worst is past Meags!!!!! Pls update us and if it's NOT better I really think you need to go to a doctor and DEMAND relief!!!! There must be something??

JOli good luck with UIF and Kimika, thank God your medical aid has come through! I'll also post my costs so far it's about R5,700 anaethetist - thank goodness I have 'gap' insyurnace as they officially pay like R1,000 or something ridiculous like that for anaethetist!! The gynae and his assistant were R10,500 so all I need to add I think is hospital bill which is probably gi-normous, but thankfully they're of the last to deal directly with medical aid!! Phew!!! Also had to pay R2,000 for william to be cicumcised (just to the hospital, for 'out patient') and then R1,850 to the doc who did it. I'm nervous I'm going to forget to claim for half these bills and I just avoid looking at my bank balance right now LOL! WIll let you know totals when I have them. Totally worth it though for what is truly our bundle of joy who was up *every 3 hours* last night the 3am feed was teh worst i was sooo tired, but fine now. LIttle one is sleeping and still remains so considerate even though he was up like a jack in the box! of course i couldn't start the disciplined feeding today again as you need to start at t6am on the day of the disciplining regardless of when last feed was then you feed (in the day) 10am, 2pm, 6pm bath 8pm and last feed 10am and apparently in short time the baby sleeps from 10pm to 6am (well at like 6 weeks which is relatively short time) makes sense but he only got to sleep at about wuarter to 5 so i was not going to be getting up at 6 again! Will try tomorrow! I think when she said from the 2nd week she meant at 'any' time during the 2nd week so I still have time!
