Meags - argh so sorry about the H's - absolutely awful. Jeez about Amazon - WTH are they thinking? strange way of doing things I guess. shoo epidural is very expensive and good luck with finishing everything off soon - google is much more fun to be honest!

Anje - when Joli has sorted the photos out - please post some Wow L has grown! (jealous about your maternity leave, but enjoy every moment)

Faw - enjoy the break and try not to let your family stress you out - can they not see that you need support in your final weeks not to be kicked out by your mom?

AFM: about 6 weeks to go (I suspect) wow I am super excited now! If only I had a crib for LO to sleep - lol (my sister is painting it for us and I hope we get it this weekend) Has everyone had their babyshowers already?

Today is DH's birthday! Not going to be celebrating too much though as it is ash Wednesday and the start of lent. Not sure what I shoulld give up - worried if I give up chocolates or something I may have a sudden craving.

Yesterday was Matthew's actual birthday, I sent some cup cakes to school and they sang and made him feel special. Someone asked, he turned 3.

Meags - glad you r feeling a little better.. Sounds like you got some wonderful things from amazon. Best I start getting my act together.. I think the weekend of the 19th, I will start sorting through what I have from M and what I still need. I only realized now that the 21 st is a holiday.

Im so happy, my stiches are almost all out now.. just the deepest one left So Im almost whole again

And I googled the spitting.. seems like its very normal for newborns up to 6wks to spit up milk after each feed.. Ahhh the wonder of modern technology

Schatsie I would love to do a CT meeting too!!!! All our babies will be here by then and at least 2 months old

Got some of the things delivered from Amazon - THROWN OVER THE WALL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God it was the baby stuff so the play gym, travel bed (soft) and a teddy hammock so nothing breakable. Last thing to be delivered is a big screen though (like a room divider thing) that is wooden so I really hope they dont throw that over the wall!!!!!! but it seems that just how it works here?! bizarre....

ooohh my grapes are starting to bleed ow ow ow they are still SO painful!! my word cant they just start healing????? as I said - at least I can walk now though but sleeping or trying to rest is so sore and I'm tired!!!

Our medical aid told us they had contacted the hospital and arranged everything for payment etc. so I called the hospital to check and turns out they have not called at all!!!!!!!!! so frustrated.

DH seeing the doctor now now about his medication (well actually a nurse?!) but ya...couldnt get in to see a doc/psychiatrist anywhere so nurse it is!

still need to finish that darn hospital bag. but i did finish off the room - put the wedge into the crib, the sheet protector and sensor mat. called labour ward to confirm things I need to bring and she advised nice soft toilet paper!!! so maybe those others on here who havent delivered yet should consider that too

not sure I can just decide to have the epidural on the day if needs be...not unless we have R8500 cash available as they want payment before they give it! good incentive not to have it!

need to write out my birth plan too. gosh I really need to actually do these things instead of sitting on the internet all day googling stuff.

Think Matt has finally started to engage. When I wake in the mornings my tummy seems a lot lower than normal (although I dont feel any more pelvic pressure so who knows...)

Karin congrats on the birth of your beautiful daughter.
Im going away tomorrow til friday afternoon and the signal there isn't great, so i may or may not be around.
Nothing much happening here at the moment. I went to sars as i finally have my irp5's and am going to fight for my money.
My aunt and cousin have both told my mom to throw me out because i am costing her too much money, yet im the one who has been giving my mom money and not them. They just think they can rule our lives.
Anyway hope you all well. Hugs.
