First and foremost - Kimika! Well done! Reuben is beautiful and gorgeous! LOVELY!!!!!! Dying to read your birth story in detail!

Joli, Callum is too cute and growing soooo nicely! I'm so sorry about Discovery it's so wrong that one pays for a service and then also has to fight for it, never mind the loyalty of 10 years! Glad you've got people 'onto' it at least!!!!!!

And the belly pics I MUST post some we have a feeling William is going to come today or at weekend and if not ... then only March! So basically we're clueless!

Going to gynae tomorrow and hope to get some feedback re whether William is getting ready...or not...he is certainly very active!

I'm on maternity leave from yesterday OMG it's utterly utterly divine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Schatsie - border is from game (canalk walk) it was SO expensive...hee hee R25 fro 5m!! we needed 2 rolls. It does say self adhesive, but we put it up with glue as it peels off very easily. Bras - they were R150 ...they have some nice ones, and also the twin packs (but not in my size) which would work out cheaper. Also have 2 cariwell so now have 4...think that ie enough to get started.

Kimika, I don't know what your DH looks like, but I would say Reuben looks like you. I deffinitely see mommy's face in his . Ah, had another look and I think it's the mouth. That's mommy's mouth, OK.

Joli and Meags, good luck with all the unplanned expenses! My heart just sank into my shoes this morning when I realised I will have to pay a deposit when my LG starts going to creche at 3 months. And that is after 3 months of unpaid leave. So I can imaginge the shock of all those unforeseen expenses.

Misty, loved your pic. Looks like they live in peace, unlike the 2 brothers we have...

Kimika - Reuben is too precious, looks all chubby like a cherub! I love chubby babies by the way!! So glad you got an extra night, take it easy as much as you can is a good idea in my book. We have the same giraffe for Tessa ........ actually the first teddy we bought her. I think you have fabulous taste - hee hee!!!

Joli - How frustrating that these drs are all contracted out! When they supply services in hospital it should not be so! I am sorry about all the hassles. They will just have to wait for there money, the ned aid would only pay them in 3 to 6 months anyway!! I am sure Kayla will be back at ballet in no time.

Meags - Bloody hell, that is expensive!!! A gil in my antenatal class is American and she is having her baby here as she can't afford it in America ...... now I understand!! Yippeeee for the cot. I sympathise with your back, i have been battling and not sleeping which leaves me exhausted and emotional! Hope it improves soon

Misty - Jack and Daniel are too precious, don't they always find the funniest places to zzzzzz! I love the belly too, such a round shape and very neat for 30 weeks. Your nursery is lovely and restful. Your baba is going to be so happy in there. My cupboard also has a bookcase down the side ..... but faces forward!

Mistymom, your nursery is sbsolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! But now I have to ask: WHERE DID YOU GET THAT BEAR BORDER???!!!! It is exactly what I'm looking for, but the closest I got so far was a Winnie the Pooh one and I just want plain brown bears.

Thanks also for the tip on getting nursing bras at Woollies, I hadn't thought of looking there. How much were they? I got 2 Carriwell bras, but they were R250 each, so I only got 2 for now.

The 5th at Canal Walk suits me fine. Maybe Mug & Bean is easiest since I'm sure we all know where it is.

Meags, when are you getting the results from teh glucose tests? Gee the tests are damn expensive there!!!

AFM I came down with a bad cold on Monday so took half day off yesterday and am still home today. (I can just hear the money I'm losing roll away!) I have a very sore and slimy (sorry for the TMI)throat and blocked nose and hardly got any sleep.

Then DH came home late last night since he went for "drinks with the boys". I was LIVID and we had our first big fight. I mean really, firstly he could have phoned to say he was going to be late, secondly he KNOWS I'm sick in bed, so what the heck was he going out for anyway, when he was sick I rushed home to look after him and thirdly I so don't believe in boys nights! I told him if he wants to live the single life and do boys nights he must tell me now and then I will raise this baby alone! He apologised and said it was a once off thing to get to know his new colleagues, so I hope he sticks to that!

Maybe I overreacted as I'm rather overemotional lately, but being really ill and unable to take anything other than Panados for it didn't help matters either!

Anyway, I just came in to say hi and will try to catch up on some sleep now. Will check in again later.

Kimika - Oh WoW! Reuben is soooo gorgeous!! He looks like a baby that is a few weeks old already, that skin is so beautiful and plump! What a handsome little guy!

Joli - I LOVE that photo of you and Callum... my heart just melts every time I see him. And having Kayla take the photo - Wow! She's got her mommy's talent!
Sorry about the hassles with the medical aid... one would think that being loyal to a place for 10 years as customer, they would be a bit more accomodating and help you more! Hope they get a wake up call and settle all for you soon.
And yeah ... men... they just don't get it... he should be left alone at home for a few days and then lets see if he thinks you still need more "stuff" to do, hehe.

MistyMom - Love your belly pics! You still look tiny for 30 weeks! But our bumps do grow much quicker in the last two months only, hehe.

Meags - Glad you survived the ordeal with the blood tests... I can imagine you were feeling so sick...I mean, they are taking blood, keeping food away from you and force feeding you disgustingly sweet drinks... Yuck! So glad that is over and done with for you. Hope you get the results quick and that all will be just fine!

Betty - Thankfully today is a bit cooler! Gosh, I really suffered yesterday, was so wishing for a airconditioned office - lol.
Sorry, can't help with the UIF thing... Im holding thumbs that my boss will keep to his end of the deal and I won't have to claim Uif. I'm still going to work part time (as I work from home) so I'm not going to have a full maternity leave at all... a bit sad about that, but will be gratefull if I get my full salary still. Will make the working in between more bearable.

Sjoe...Kiana SO active this morning... she's all over the place... not that there is much room to maneuver anymore! So you can imagine the rolling, uncomfortable bumps and stabs, Especially her knees, they sure can feel like they might go right through my tummy!
Have to enjoy the movements still though... feeling sad knowing it won't be again.
