Meags - wow that is a lot of money for medical bills! I know my friend in the US was complaining that half the tests that she had were not necesary and she recond that half of it was just a huge money making thing. She said she knows of about 20 people who had to go for the diabetes test and all came back negeitive! Good to hear that besides the sex, all else ok with the friendship side of the relationship with DH.

Rakker, ya money money money....I vote we should all get 4 months PAID maternity leave! Ya the 2 kitties are the best of friends, althyough only just turned 1...so hope it stays like that. We have them sterilised at 6 montghs as a lot of people suggested tha would help!

CathM - LUCKY COW!!!!! :P so wish I was on leave. Rest and enjoy! And thank you for the info re UIF...better get started!

Fawhaway - when you say after 12 to meet what time is besyt then for you? 12.30pm ok?

Jessica - hoping that you are restiong well and getting rid of that cold!...Hope you do not have to have that C section! Enjoy your baby shower :)

Emsmom - yay that baby is now the right way...lets hope it stays that way! Enjoy the new couch and ya a little nap always helps me, even if it is for half an hour.

Kimika - cany wait myself to know if it is a boy or girl...I was telling my mom the other day as soon as it is born she will have to go buy a few blue or pink outfits as all the clothes we have are nuetral. We have got the going home outfit for little one...a lovely white set from woolies...just wonder what will be in it...boy or girl? I really do not mind...just as long as it is healthy!

BettyF - shame re your previous UIF story :( SOmebody was telling me that there is a UIF office in Goodwood...but very "secret"...never any q's and very helpful. NOt sure where it is tho. I WILL NOT SUBJERCT MYSELF OR NEWBORN anywhere near the one in Belville.

AFM - got sick eventually yesterday at work :( went home and slept most of the afternoon. Then DH came home and started cooking dinner....smelt garlic and got sick all over again :( But feel fine today. Yay tomorrow will be 31 weeks!! Who ever said it is right...the time does fly, but still not super sonic...the speed i would like!!

Morning ladies!!

How are we all today?

Meags, I agree, sex is a big deal, but also take into account that a lot of women dont want sex while PG and we all say they have the right to feel that way. Give DH some time, see how things are after Matt is born. And wonderful news about the results!

Jessica, thats great, also lots of sex ;) Good luck and I hope you get your natural birth.

Kimika, how are things going? Are you home yet? I must say I was very lucky with Em and my tummy was back to flat in a few days after birth - but I am genetically gifted with a flat tummy. I'm hoping its the same this time :)

Betty, I used abigailk.co.za/ - Abby Klopper - if you contact her tell her you got her details from Rikki. She is very good. and well priced.

Oh I forgot to mention, baby is now 2.2kg. Dr says I'm going to have to push very hard to get him out :)
I feel like this week I've done nothing but run around, really need a break now. But got friends coming round for supper and getting my new couch, so another run around day. Oh and still looking after sick Dh.
But anyways. I'll be better once I have a nap.

Hugs to you all.

betty - I've been booked off by the gynae since the 15th but I would have only started ML officially on the 28th.

Morning ladies

Thursday already, the weeks are flying by. My next scan is on 23 Feb - so looking forward to it...

Jessica- hope you are taking it easy! Mothing worse than being sick when preggers. When do you go on maternity leave?

Thanks Claire and Cath for the UIF advice. Do you know what they charge? I am not so worried about the paper work... Just don't want to go to the department myself. With Matthew I had to wait around there for hours with a new born in hand- was breast feeding in public and eventually when I got helped they said I neesome more bank statements or something. Went back the next day only to be told that I néeded the gynae who gave birth to sign. I was so peeved seeing as that I had M there he was screaming ect... Then the next day I went back, was now allowed in the next que- only to be told that my work never completed something correctly. In the end i just burst into tears and crapped all over the poor lady at work. Turns out that the forms and instructions which I downloaded off their website had changed. The experience was something that I never want to repeat.

Meags - you maternity shoot picture is lovely! I never did a shoot when I was preggers with M. Not sure if I regret it. I just felt so fat at the time. Not sure I will do one this time.

Can anyone recommend a photographer in CT?

Joli- aah the pmb's. I only found out about this in December, and then read up about it in Jan re the changes. So I have not registered it as they don't seem to pay for anything anymore.. Feel like they have stollen money from me.

Emsmom - yay on baby turning!

Kimika- are you home now? How are you coping?

Have a wonderful day! I seem to be wishing the days away.... I still have over 2 months to go- my legs are crocking up- lol

Mom to Matthew, born 8 March 2008
baby girl due 29 April 2011

I just wanna say WOW at all the lovely bumps !!!!! Lucy, Emsmom and MIstymom (hope I didnt miss any..) you are all looking absolutely amazing with those gorgeous bellies... hope your taking lotsa pics!! Soon baba will be out and youll be missing the bump like me and Joli ;)

Meags, your quite right on the large belly after birth :) Mine looks about 5months now! But its smaller than it was after my first one.. So when do you get your glucose results?? Eina, thats quite a hectic bill if you start adding all together!

Joli, I also have to pay the epidural cash and claim back on my own.. my bill is R2800 but I get discounted to R2200 if I pay within 30 days. His bill is also R900 just because of *emergency* hehe.. but I guess being called out just after 12 on a Sunday deserves an extra bit hey? Thanks for posting the pic, I was busy uploading the same one last night when the laptop went dead!

Those bills are terrible!! Yip on the pmb not paying the gynaes anymore.. I posted a thing about that a while ago.. you can claim back for your midwife visits now. Hope you win the Discovery battle!

Mistymom, the nursery is soooo pretty!!! I just cant wait to get that news after you deliver if you have a boy or girl in there ;)

Schatsie, sorry bout the fight with hubby, men :)

Lucy, aggg man.. thats the first thing I bought him too :) Even before I bought any clothes etc!! We do have great taste! And I just love love love all the NICI soft animals.. have you seen any more in stores?? Cant always get them.. Ive got the cutest little crocodile tissuebox cover :)
