Karin I am so jealous!!!!!!!!!! Your photos are GORGEOUS! I really hope mine come out just as pretty!
Ok now to try remember what everyone said....
Firstly, congrats again to Kimika! and hurry home - we are dying to see photos and hear you birth story of that super fast labour!!!!!!
I have to admit - when I saw Joli's update about your birth - I was SO jealous! I just cant wait for my turn now!!
MistyMom - your DH is really sweet sending you 2 cards - I got nothing...ok fair enough...we agreed not to celebrate Valentine's day since it was DH's birthday on Saturday and our anniversary this weekend!
Lucy - wow! Tessa is growing so nicely!!!!!!!! Wish I knew what Matthieu weighed

but no more scans for me so I'll just have to wait and see!
Cath - glad you are more settled on William's birth
Faw - sorry about your dad not being able to speak very well. Remember - it is just as frustrating for him though not being able to be understood!! My friend's mom had a stroke about 9 years ago and her vocab is SO limited. She says 'thank you' to EVERYTHING! the conversation is as follows:
Hi how are you?
Thank you

Are you excited for your upcoming holiday?
Thank you

Ok see you soon!
Thank you
haha shame...it's really difficult chatting with her!
oh darn now I cant scroll down anymore...
oh yes but I do remember...schatsie - sorry about your baby shower!!! It's not nice being forced into a situation you are uncomfortable with. funny though - I am someone who would have enjoyed being dressed up etc and would like random people touching my belly - but my baby shower was very elegant and no one touches my tummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so I had my maternity shoot yesterday - thank God the weather was much better. it was quite windy though so unfortunately my hair was blowing everywhere

I hope it doesnt ruin the photos.
Plus I didnt find anything amazing to wear so I was pretty down about that as I felt fat and ugly

I have to say though, that DH looked at me like I was so beautiful (the last time he gave me that look was on our wedding day) so that was really nice. and he told me once we got home that I looked really beautiful.
so I tried talking to him about this sex issue again, and again he just avoids it or says "we will have sex next weekend" "we will have lots of sex once Matthieu is out" but I hear this all the time...and we're not having sex...we havent had sex for almost 2 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if we dont have sex soon, soon Matthieu will be here, then no sex for 6 weeks post delivery and then that means by the time we do do it, it would be close to 5 or 6 months of drought!
in his defense, he is really depressed and unhappy at work. he is contemplating leaving the company and getting a 'normal' job as he says the hours are too long, the work is too stressful and that means he has no time for me. so he thinks it would be better to get a lower salary elsewhere and have time for me. so we'll see after this contract. he is also on anti-anxiety treatmant (mixture of anti-depressants too) and he wants to double his dose cos he feels its not working anymore. so he's going to go back to the doctor to see what to do. and those tablets dont help with his libido issues!
however, that doesnt mean I am any less upset with him. and yes, I also said there is no way in hell he will sleep until 10am if I have to be up from 5am. so he said he'll take Matthieu into the bed with him. I said that's fine - just as long as he is the one caring for M if he cries. so we'll see.
