Morning ladies! How exciting that another baby was born. I can’t wait to hear Kimika’s birth story. Seems all happened real fast for her. So glad she got her natural birth without being induced!

Meags – did you get to do your maternity shoot yesterday? Also wanted to ask – is DH still going away when you are about 37 weeks?

Kimika – hope all is well and I’m sure you are so in love with your little man! Pls do post as soon as you can, or sms. I can’t wait to see what he looks like. Dark hair or blonde hair or no hair? So glad we managed to do your photo shoot on Saturday! Pity you didn’t go into labour then, would have been nice to catch Reuben in the studio he he. Shame man, don’t worry about the cupcakes. Pity they melted tough, I would have eaten them all by myself LOL. So sorry to hear about DH’s eye, but his eye did look really sore – shame man. I hope I can get the red photoshopped out. Tell me – did he still wear the eye patch when Reuben arrived? Pietertjie is also too cute for words. Love his blonde curly hair and blue eyes. Let me know when you are ready for your newborn shoot. The sooner the better while Reuben is still sleepy and curly and very newborn.

I had to laugh at Kimika’s water story. Girls if your waters does break, you won’t be able to pretend you’ve dropped a bottle of water as the water will be running down your legs all the way to hospital – it’s not just one gush of water. It keeps running and running and running and running – well in my case it did.

Schatsie – how was your shower?

Anje – yayness on the natural birth, but ya it’s a good idea to be prepared for a c-section as well.

Hi Fawaway – he he pls don’t give birth in a cable car! I wouldn’t worry about baby’s size too much. Kayla only measured her size up to around 12 weeks, by the time I was 30 weeks, she always measured 2 – 3 weeks smaller. Nothing wrong with her, she was just small and still is at 7 years. She was 2.6kg at birth born at 38 weeks and 6 days. Megan always measured about a week smaller and was 3.1kg at birth born at 39 weeks and 4 days and Callum always measured about 2 weeks bigger. Babies do differ in size. Sorry to hear about your dad and your brother. I’ve used some of the hypno birth techniques while I was in for my c-section and did help me a lot. When my contractions started, I didn’t feel any pain, but they could see the contraction on the monitor. Also used the techniques while they did my spinal and I didn’t feel anything (I’m petrified of needles by the way!).

Fawaway – what else do you need for the baby?

Shame Anje – are you feeling better now? He he I think your hubby is stressed cause believe me if you do go into labour it’s a major stress for them to pack your bag. They pitched up at hospital with way too much stuff you can’t or won’t use.

Shame Meags – I really do not have any advice. I hope things get sorted. Both my sisters’ hubbies did not help them at all when they had their babies and it wasn’t easy for them. Hope your hubby comes around.

Em’s Mom – how are you doing? Glad to see you’ve finally got some babygrows!

Hi girls. It's 22h45 and Kimika is on her way to hospital with contractions between 5 - 20 minutes! She will keep us posted as much as what she can. Let's hope for Valentine's baby! Yayness, finally a friend for Callum .
