I had to laugh at Kimika’s water story. Girls if your waters does break, you won’t be able to pretend you’ve dropped a bottle of water as the water will be running down your legs all the way to hospital – it’s not just one gush of water. It keeps running and running and running and running – well in my case it did.

 LOL, you are so right, Joli. I had to put a towel between my legs as it just didn't stop. At least it was late at night and only hospital staff saw me in that undignified position... My waters story: I got up at 02:15 to go to the loo and lost bladder control (or so I thought) on the way to the toilet. I then thought to myself it doesn't seem right, because I never had this problem during the pregnancy. Went to the loo and then off to the laptop to google "waters breaking". I am truely a google addict :silly: . While waiting for the PC to start up it happened again and then I knew I didn't need Google to tell me what's going on. After that I needed the towel. Didn't even shower or anything. Just wanted to get to the hospital as it was 5 weeks and a day before my due date.

I read that waters breaking as the first sign of labour only happens with 10% of births, so not that common really.
