HI ladies

Love all the christening outfits! They all look so sweet...reminds me that I better book Ryans soon.

Betty hope all setteling in at work...I tried expressing during the day, but it is so hard as I am on the road and it just turned into to much of a mission...I must admit having expressed from birth till I went back to work was completely exhausting...but I wanted the best for my LB and when I went back to work he had to go on formula...I pump still 4 times a day...when i wake, when I get home from work (around 2pm) then while ryan is in the bath (i find this works nicely as he loves the bath and i sit and pump while he plays and then he has fresh warm milk waiting) and then before I go to bed. So he has about 500ml BM and the rest formula.

Schatsie - i know the feeling of having a clean house! Nanny is just wonderful...house always clean and a happy baby when I get home from work. Its great as when i get home I pump, then have a few hours special time with Ryan and do not need to worry about house work.

Faw - glad to hear the breast milk has come back! Wanted to go to that seminar, glad you found it helpful!

Ok girls...beleive it or not I am feeling BROODY!! Sure it has to do with my sister been 30 weeks pregnant! Anyway DH and I where chatting and he said when ever i want to start trying for no 2 is fine...Now the question is what is the best age gap? Guess i would hav eto stop expressing (presume would be a struggle to fall pregnant while BF)...as I am turning 36 in october the clock is also ticking!

Cant beleive it, Ryan has now slept fo over 2 hours this afternoon....expecting him to wake any minute! He normally only naps for about 45min!

Someone was talking about the other thread? What thread?

Mommie has been very quite....me included! Have been following on phone.

hugs and kisses

Nice photos everyone... We will probably have Megan's dedication in the next few weeks, will speak to our Pastor tomorrow. (Our Church usually has the dedications and Baptisms on the same day).

On a not so nice note... my dog was hit by a car this morning. He has a bad break on his leg and we might have to put him down, but we'll only know on Monday. My heart is very sore.....I really loved the dog and Megan always used to smile/laugh at him....

We would have had a photoshoot today, but with everything that happened we have to cancel it. Can't wait for the photos from last weeks photoshoot.

So Megan has been a bit niggly the last few days, but not too difficult though. Think she will have her first two teeth in the next few weeks. Cant wait, think she will look too cute!

Meags, it is very good for the little ones to get exposed to other kids. My son is such a social butterfly and that's due to him being exposed to other kids from 3 months old. He is comfortable around people of all ages.

Beautiful christening pics Lucy and Schatsie. It's our turn this Sunday. I must say organising the snacks afterwards is turning into a bit of a nightmare. I just want to enjoy the day and not worry about if there is enough snacks etc. And we will only know tonight if my DH's christening gown will fit Cherise, so if it doesn't, we will have to get an outfit tomorrow. And tomorrow is also my granny's birthday party. She turns 97 or something today.

Betty_F, it takes about a week until these little ones start to adapt to being away from mommy. They then start to recognise the care takers and get used to their routine. I also used the mini electric behind locked door. I had to ask my colleague to go and sit in another office every time, but she was fine with it. I am using the manual one now as I only rented the electric one and I am expressing less these days. It is awkward and it's such a shame that it should be like that. Guess it will be years before companies have dedicated rooms for mothers to express. Enjoy Sarah's baptism tomorrow! And hey, you should sleep at night  . You are a working woman now.

Hi ladies

Love the pics and congrats on the christenings!
We are having Sarah's Baptism on Saturday.
I started work today and Sarah went to day care. They said she was fine, but they struggled a bit with her when she got tired, cried and did not want to sleep. Also they mentioned that she wanted to be carried all day. When I fetched her she looked peeved and was sitting in a bouncer. Her voice is a bit horse :( hope she never cried too much.

Work went well - I used my noisy mini electric breast pump. Just locked my office door and pumped. No one said anything. But I felt a bit blind. Wonder what everyone thought?

Meags day care once a week is a good idea.

I think I should try sleep now else I will feel like a zombi tomorrow...

hi girls

lucy those pics are toooo gorgeous!!
libra i also love your pics :)
schatsie doesnt arno just look like a precious little man :) your dh looks very proud!

faw I know eczema goes with allergies but he gets no dairy at all now so its strange he is now getting eczema?! there is nothing in the formula he could possibly react to as it is only amino acids.

ive decided to put matt into day care once a week for now. I hate constantly asking my friends to look after him so i can get my hair done or whatever. so atleast on that say I know for sure I can do as many things as I need to get done. I also decided on day care over a nanny as he is very scared when other kids make noises and I think he needs to be exposed to it more and learn to interact with others.
