Misty, we are much too hard on ourselves! We have done great with the breast milk! I was unhappy with myself because I started to intruduce formula for 1 or 2 feeds a week before I planned to. Just crazy :silly: . I mean, almost 4 months is as good as 4 months, is better than 2 weeks or whatever. But that is the thing with being a mother, you will always think that you could have done better.

Good luck with the op. He will be fine, although the stitches will be a bit of a pain in the butt. I know, because I begged the guy who did my teeth recently to take the bloody stitches out as they were so annoying.

Rakker...sorry had to subject you to Ryans psycho look 5 times! Good on you for introducing tummy Time early! I did try, but he hated it... would just cry...he has got better now (it takes about 5 to 10 minutes before he performs!). You are right...I would like him to crawl before walking...with the whole SIDS scare of sleeping on side/back and not tummy I do not think our babies spend enough time on tummy.

Tazzy - wow 6 months! time really has gone fast...glad to see you have got some AD! I am very surprised that I did not need. That was a worry for me as I have been on AD before and was a bit worried I would get PND. Espically since I was unable to BF and have been pumping my life away so Ryan can get Breats milk.

Rakker...it is funny....I feel like I am not pumping enough! With the 4 pumps a day and formula with the rest I still feel guilty that Ryan is not exclusively BF...but I really dont have a choice been back at work.

Meags - love the pics you put on FB of DH and matt at the beach! The weather in CT is still really crappy...cant wait to get to boulders with my little man.

We are seen the plastic surgen on 13th September for Ryans soft pallet cleft...He is having an op at 6 months where they pull the soft pallet (which apparently is there somewhere) forward. Shame my poor little guy...stiches in his mouth! But at least after that he is all fixed up. Luckily it is only a partial small cleft and has not affected him in anyway except he was unable to BF.

Other than that I feel I have been blessed with a realitly easy first few months...Ryan is in a great routine - he wakes normally once but sometimes twice a night to feed. He goes "down" at about 7pm (yay for sleep training so he now goes in cot dozzy...doe snot have to be asleep) and wakes between 1 and 2am for a feed then up at 6. Dh sorts him at 6 with a feed (while mommy gets her beauty sleep) and then nanny arrives at 7am when I wake up. I am so blessed to have my nanny McFaith! I leave fro work at 8 but am mostly home by 2pm...:)

So re number 2...I have been doing a lot of reading re ideal age gap...effects on body after pregnancy to fall pregnant again etc. We have decided to wait until Ryan is at least 6 months old (and his op out the way) and then I will be trying to TTC again. Yesterday I started what I think is a period...well it must be...although it is very light! I also had it fro 2 days last month (although stupidly forgot to note when!)..so anyway i presume I am now expressing and menstruating?! I really do want baby no 2 fro many reasons and with turning 36 next month just want to get it over with. Anyway my question ladies is....do you think I should stop pumping...go on a diet to try loose the 10kgs i need to loose, or should I keep on pumping, forgot the weight...TTC and then after no2 (if we are blessed with one) then try get pre preggy body??

hugs girls and hope the

thread does become a little more active again!

this was Ryan at 3 months... quality a bit poor as was taken with a cellphone..

I also got so excited when I saw - 10 new posts!! This thread had been so quiet!
Mistymom - that is such a cute pic. Definitely one to scrapbook.

Where is evrybody else?? Kimika, Meags, missesmom, lucy .......

Amelia is 6 months old now :) and still a really difficult baby. Last night I had a brilliant night (well in my eyes) she slept from 6 until 1am.
I finally saw my gynae again and he has put me on an anti depressant for PND. I feel soooo much better. I have way more patience with my little girl and seem to just be more relxed about little things in life.

Schatsie - amelia alos loves standing and bouncing. But I'm quite strict with tummy time. Its really important for them to crawl before they walk. But heavens I'm not looking forward to that. They are such busy bodies when they crawling!

LOL, Misty, you had me thinking that the thread came to life again. But that is such a cute pic, I didn't mind seeing it 5 times  .

Cherise also rolled from tummy to back on the day she turned 4 months, but I haven't seen it again. She is trying very hard to turn from back to tummy and she's almost there. She actually loves tummy time, because this time around I started introducing tummy time pretty much after birth (on me at first). I never did tummy time with my son and he was a late crawler.

Misty, can't believe you express so often. I am getting lazy these days and express only once at work and that's it.

Thanks for asking, Schatsie. With all the arrangements around the tea party afterwards, I only asked my brother to take few pics in church and they really didn't come out well :( . And it was so hot that I took Cherise's christening gown off right after the service and we never took any more pics. Such a shame, as she wore my DH's first and only dress, LOL. And I wish I could get a video recording of the whole ceremony, because I missed most of it trying to shut my LB up :swear: . He was singing and talking loudly in front of the church. And I thought it would be nice if he could join us in the front... I felt so ashamed and even held my hand over his mouth when he couldn't even keep his mouth shut during the prayer. Eish, so not like him. I will look for a decent pic in any case. The tea party was nice enough at least.
