Ladies, just wanted to say although I have not been posting, I am reading every post made and am glad to see you all doing so well.

Cath I think you asked about what babies swim in, I got Kate a cloth swimming nappy and it worked wonderfully. Also you can get the huggies swimming nappies.

Meags hon, hope things with Mat get better, I'm sure I've told you before that my Mat was allergic to everything as well and he grew out of it thankfully, so hoping for the same with yours.

Libra hon, hope you feel better real soon! Lack of sleep can sadly make you sick, cause your immune system is low. Hang in there, as a mom of a 5 year old, I can tell you it doesn't last forever and you wont even remember the hard times

Hi everyone else!!

Kate remains a dream, such a sweet baby, we went to the hot baths last week and she adored it!! loved being in the water! Smiles all the time. I am besotted!!
Em is getting so big, while at the same time staying so small - make sense? She is so sweet and funny, I think play therapy has really helped her adjust, and I am SO hlad I sent her.
I've had to go to the dentist twice in the last week and need to go back on thursday anyways, if thats the worst of my problems then life is good. I am so retardedly happy its scary!
My little family is perfect, and my biggest worry is my weight, which my darling darlinhg DH will now diet with me, so I have the support - and I've been asked twice in the last 3 days if I've been gyming like mad cause I'm looking great (insert silly smile here )

Anyways ladies, I promise I'll try chat more and not get too lost in all your posts

Just an update. Saw the specialist. He says Matt is highly allergic/sensitive/whatever to milk so since the Nutramigen has hydrolysed milk proteins he cannot have it as his symptoms are indicating a reaction...

SOOO... we are on the R400 a tin that lasts 3 days formula...fantastic.
Anyway. Hopefully now he will stop being such a moany baby and start sleeping better, have normal stools, no red bum, less vomitting etc etc etc.

We are still to continue on reflux meds as specialist says he has symptoms of both and that we may even need to increase the reflux meds. Disappointed in that as I was kind of hoping all these symptoms were only allergy related and we could stop the meds but alas....such is life!

and a quick picture...We went to a party with the theme of hat and moustache... here we are!! (my moustache did not stick from the start )
(oh and we are expecting to be hit my a hurricane on Thursday )

Tazzy, Rakker and Faw - PND is possible and very common a few months down the line. If you don't feel you are coping you should speak to your GP about it. There are many forms of help, so find one that suits you. There is no point in suffering if you don't need to.

Tazzy - I also think that a night or 2 of Vallergan will make a happier Mommy which is much better than a tired baba and mama and dusty bottle in the high cupboard!! I am very anti dosing babies and have done the homeopathic route whenever possible with Tessa, but when it is time, it is time! I think for you it is time!

Meags - I am so glad you guys are getting councelling and you know my opinion on your DH switching!! Go go !
