Lucy - aaaww poor Tessa. I hope she gets better soon. Hannah has just been on antibiotics for an ear infection. But I just realised how nice it is when your child can actually tell you what hurts and where.
Yes I'm getting a new car well that's if and when we can sell my current car. I'm getting a Chev Captiva.

Faw - so so sorry to hear about your mom. I'm thinking of you, and I hope she recovers soon.

AFM - amelia is still giving me a hard time. Day and night. I'm physically and emotionally drained. I'm considering going to get an anti-depressant. I feel like about to lose control and I hate feeling like this. I wonder if its possible to get PND months after the birth? Because I just don't feel normal.

Hi girls. As if things couldn't get worse for me the thing i feared the most has happened. My mom is in hospital for tests and monitoring cos she is heading for a stroke. So im dealing with my dad and children and trying not to cry. Its the hardest thing i have ever done. At least my mom hasn't had the stroke, i think that would have been worse. I have to go work but at least my children will be looked after today.

Kimika - Well done R on his sitting attempts. How exciting!! Sorry that you are still battling with the eating and sleeping. I have to be honest I would have to see a lot of proof to believe the before 7 month to avoid allergies story. Doesn't sound logical to me. I am loving all your Baked with Love stuff on FB. Well done!

Tazzy - Well done to A also on the sitting. Tessa is also a heffalump. At 4 1/2 months she was 7,5kg!! But I love the fat rolls. I was just telling Missesmon on FB. Think I must post a pic of her ankles... to cute!! Oh and good luck on selling your car, does that mean you're getting a new one?

Rakker - gorgeous gorgeous. C is such a pretty baba!

Afm: I took Tessa to the doctor yesterday as she occassionally tugs on her ears. I know it can be self soothing but it wasn't normal for her and something just said check it out. Anyway she was doing her usual flirt with strangers and cooing and smiling at the doctor while I was explaining why I was there. So he says to me that usually a smiling baby that is eating and sleeping is not a sick baby. So I said that is fine but then i'll have peace of mind if I know all is well !!! Guess what she has fluid in her middle ear. Clever Mommy!! Anyway my poor uncomplaining sausage has to have allergex and cortisone. So glad I caught it early and have avoided antibiotics.

Kimika - the sleep has gone from bad to worse! I gave up on sleep training because she had a bad cold last week and i had bronchitis.
Last night she woke up at 830,10:45 , 1am, 3am, and wide awake at 4:30!
Im absolutely drained! That Vallergan forte is starting look very appealing

R has picked up weight nicely, well done! Amelia is almost sitting by herself too. Shes a real heffalump though, shes well over 8kgs now.

Tazzy, how is the sleeping going? The way you described how Amelia feeds is exactly the same as R!! Even the little hand rubbing up and down Ive also accepted it.. Ive realised that most days he is just not hungry at the time I want to feed so he just sips and is then happy about it.

Meags, sorry bout the bladder thing.. Im sure I read somewhere that its a normal pregnancy "side-effect" and can be surgically corrected? Not sure about that... Congrats on the toothies!!! So cute R only started now, just before 6 months to really reach out for stuff, especially when sitting up. Before that it was also only while lying down. Some things babies will do earlier than the milestones say and others they will do later on.

Rakker, shame man... all these people are just making you happy for a short time by paying in too much money and then you have to repay eina!

Schatsie, with the last jabs did he get the oral drops too? Sometimes it gives them bad stomach spasms and that could very likely be the reason why he did that screaming bit.. and it can last a few days.

Ok whats been up lately.. Took R for his 6 month weigh in He is 7.4kg and 68cm so still doing great there. He is on wheat cereal now and Ive only done sweet potato extra now.. he hates it! But sr Bam said they now say to give babies all foods before 7months to prevent allergies.. that includes eggs, peanutbutter etc!! eek!!! So Im holding off from doing that until I see the paed on Thursday for his checkup. Im also going to ask her what his routine should be now reg eating vs milk feeds cause really.. some days he is just hungry!! But doesnt want to bf.. ? His sleeping has been better last 2 nights.. so hoping that stays.. Ive been totally zonked lately which is odd for me..zzzzzz

He is basically sitting now.. falls over if he looks sideways or up And he has staretd to p-p-p-p a while ago which has now turned in to p-p-p-papa. So I guess he wont be saying mama first hey? And shoo.. he poops a lot!! Its not like I give him huge bowls of food.. yesterday he did 5 poops that started at 2:30 in the morning hehe

Oh and he has started to *sing* just before he falls asleep.. thats really cute.
