Morning everyone...been a while since I have posted a proper post...
It's really cold here today...when is summer going to start????
I can't really remember what everyone has posted and I don't think Megan will give me the time to reread it, so if I miss anyone I apologise...
Congrats on all the teeth...would love to see photos of the pretty smiles...
MistyMom, yes they were born on the same day. Her timing was great, so I didn't mind that she was a few days late (she was due on the 22nd) Megan is going over t her 3-6 months clothing now. Really need to go weigh her, she weight 5.7kgs at 12 weeks...
Shame, I guess you must be dreading his op...
Tazzy, how is it going with the sleep training? I have heard that a lot of babies prefer veg to porridge...Hope your household are all healthy again...
Cath, you are so lucky with W sleeping through...I wish I was you! M drinks about every 3 hours, but she does not drink as much as she should...it's quite frustrating because I waste so much formula. I have stopped bf during as I don't think she drank much in any case - I'm quite sad about it but I think it's best for both of us. She now bf at night and in the morning. I do think I should maybe express some milk during the day so that she can get some extra breastmilk...though I must admit I'm a bit lazy...
Claire, enjoy the last few weeks with your little one, I'm sure you are going to miss him once you are back at work... The one advantage of being back at work is the free time for yourself. A lot of moms say they actually go back to work so that they can relax. I must admit I am really not looking forward to going back to work. (I'm starting again on 3 Oct) My maternity leave has really flown by so far, can't believe I only have a month and a half left!
Meags, sorry to hear about your bladder, hopefully its not serious. I have actually gone of the pill now because my period is so irregular. Once I have stopped breastfeeding I will go on the pill again... Matt is really so cute, I am so glad things are going better now. He was probably niggly the last while because of his teeth.
Lucy, at least you can say that Tessa is a healthy little girl! I can't wait for Megan to roll over, but she isn't really intrested in laying on her tummy...She'll lay on her tummy for a minute or so then she starts moaning...I guess we'll get there eventually...
Fawhaway, sorry to hear about your whole situation with you ex. And the whole blog/memoirs thing sound interesting...maybe they will become famous, you never know!
Schatsie, Arno is too cute. Megan has also been drooling a lot and sticking everything in her mouth, they say it can take a while for the teeth to come out. I have been paying for Megan's jabs all along (the medical aid has been paying for it) I just don't want to take her to the goverment clinic in our area, so my only other choice is to pay for it...
Megan is slowly becoming her old cheerful self again... so glad she's no longer grumpy. She is getting so cute... She has been going to bed between 20:00 -
21:00 the last week so I am very happy about that. She still wakes up during the night, it's not much of a problem now but it will be once I'm back at work. She usually sleeps for 5 or 6 hours then wakes up but falls asleep about 10 minutes later on the boob, after that she wakes up every hour and a half or two hours...
Better go now...enjoy the rest of your day...
