MistyMom, congrats on the sleep training, I'm sure its going to be a great success. I still don't have the guts to do it...

I can't wait for supper so that my little one can swim...we have really hot and humid summers, so I'm sure she will love it!

HI ladies

Great to read all the milestones and see that our babies are all growing so fast!

Time has certainly gone so fast.

Ryan slept the longest he has ever slept lastnight...from 8pm till 4.30am! I could not beleive it....this morning is the best I have felt in ages.

DH has now been away a week.....it has not been as tough as I thought it would be. I have taken this time to sleep train Ryan...I always used to put him to sleep in his cot at night afetr he head fallen asleep in my arms, but this last week I have been doing it awake...and wow each night has just got easier and easier. He now falls asleep mostly without a squek! YAY...sure daddy will be happy about that when he gest home.

Faw - wow girl congrates on all that pumping...I have given up pumping during the day at work...it is just to hard, I am on the road, seen clients (nowhere to store BM etc)...so I now pump in am, when I get home from work around 2-3pm and then try at least twice in evening...I am still getting about 800ml a day and the rest is toppedup with formula.

Schatsie - hectic on screaming...ya...we can all guess as to why but sometimes babies just cry...it was so funny...I was on skype earlier to DH and Ryan had been playing and in a good mood on his playmat on my bed...then I put him on my lap so DH could see imn and about 5 minutes later he just started crying...big tears and all! SHame DH thought Ryan was upset to see him in the computer!

Baby show was a waste of tim eand so boring...hardly any stands and baby city was not even their! Glad I had free tickets as would not have been impressed paying R50 to get in.

My mom has been staying the last weekend and is back this weekend to help out. Was nice to have some free time..popped down to gym adn managed a steamroom and sauna...lol did not touch any equipment!

Bought Ryan his first little costume today...so now cant wait to get him in the pool! He has been in the jaquize (spelloing?) at his grandads house and loves it!

Lib - your little girl is just so sweet thank you fo rthe pics!

Meags - what is th enews with your bladder...nightmare! ~(hugs)

well that is it girls....its midnight and i wanna go sleep!

love me

Just a quick post to share some pics.

With big brother (just before he tried to push her off his lap because I told him we are finished now...)

Tonight, sitting and playing with her stuffed toy

My current favourite pic of her from our newborn shoot

So, Megan rolled over from her back to her stomach tonight...but I won't get all excited yet...she was lying on my bed and I have a feather duvet so it's very soft etc. so it didn't take much for her to get from her back to her stomach... She has this thing lately where she wants to suck/chew/lick/whatever the 'material'/blanket she is lying on, but she totally turns her head around to do it. She does it often in her rocker aswell...she turns her head to get to the material of the rocker. I don't really know what she tries to do...

She was so cute tonight...she was laughing and giggling the whole time...and that was after my dog tried to lick her. She really likes my dog lately...

I am quite p-d off with my dh at the moment  so it's better for me to sit and chat here before I give him a piece of my mind... :swear:
Men, they never listen to us!!!

Schatsie, the smiling photos are few and far between...she usually stops smiling the moment she sees a camera...

Thanks Cath...girls are the best...I might change my mind once she's a teenager!!!!

Been ages since I posted anything. I am just too busy to do anything. Being back at work is better now, but there still is no time for anything. I am busy expressing at the moment. I do it more get some relief at this stage as I have started sending formula milk to creche. Or rather, I supplement the breastmilk that I have with formula. I never express at home, because it just became rediculous to try and fit that into an already busy evening program. So, no expressing over weekends either.

Other news is that I had 2 teeth removed in theatre, so I was on sick leave for a week. Finances a bit of a challenge as I was overpaid during my maternity leave and have to pay that back (It helped me survive, though). Also due to the fact that they have made this mistake, I had to wait to submit my UIF claim. And Friday I received a letter from UIF saying that they have also overpaid me the last time and that I owe them almost R2000. And now the medical aid is finished for the year and there are some medical bills (nothing big, thank goodness) that I have to pay. It never rains, but it pours :swear: .

Work is extremely hectic and there are a few bombs that are waiting to explode, so I am trying very hard to try and detonate those bombs... Luckily this month I will get a full salary, minus the money that they subtract for the overpayment (I pay it back over 4 months).

Other than that part of my life, things are great. Alexander is still very cute, but also a bit of a challenge at times. Yesterday we were away the whole morning. Went to church, then to Menlyn Cappuccino's for breakfast and after that to Hyperama for the monthly shopping. When we got home we saw that dear Alexander, before we left, put the basin plug in and opened the tap. Luckily no mess as the drain hole did it's job, but I dread the municipal bill... I do not want to think of the litres and litres of water that was wasted...

Cherise has a cold and also got these dry patches all over her body all of a sudden. Not sure if it is excema (sp?) or what. And now she also has oral thrush, which I probably gave to her. Oh, well, she gave her cold to me  . So I'm off to get some Daktarin gel to treat both her mouth and my nipples.

Thanks for all the lovely baby pics, girls. Keep them coming! I will post a pic soon.
