Meags!! I am going to pm you but just in case there are other women in the same situation DON'T change YOUR anti-depressants cause your DH has the problem!?!? You SHOULD feel depressed about the marriage situation/libido issue. Don't try quash it with anti-depressants! I have nothing against anti depressants they are GREAT but don't DOUBLE your dose just to deal wiht a situation which SHOULD be making you feel unhappy! No sleep + lovely but demanding baby + dh issues = unhappy mommy. that's NORMAL!!! DH has the problem not you!! So please don't do that to yourself! :)

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend. We are at a game farm and having a great time... We are just sitting around the house and relaxing and it's so nice. At the moment there are 3 rhinos grazing a few meters from the veranda, but other than that we have not seen much. Megan's nose has been a bit blocked the last few days (which is actually nothing new), but now her chest is sounding a bit wheezy as well. Hope she is not getting sick. I'm busy getting a cold so it won't be good if we are both sick...

I really do think lack of sick can make you feel terrible. I know how I get very ratty when I don't sleep well. (So far I'm coping quite well with the lack of sleep, will see once I get back to work whether I'll still cope)

Meags, it might be good to see a marriage counsellor and maybe your DH should go see a physcologist as well.

Have to go...speak soon again :)

hi girls

just a quick one.
faw I wouldnt be surprised if you are depressed. with everything you have gone through...perhaps you should look into anti-depressants???
tazzy and rakker - initially I didnt know if it was sleep deprivation or PND. either way the anti-depressants work wonders and even when I only get like 2-3 hours of sleep I am still patient with Matt and dont snap at him...so think about it.

cant remember if I told you but Matt has 2 teeth now. both sticking out and you can see them nicely. will take a pic over the weekend and post it.

Matt is sick. snotty, fever, coughing. hope its not the start to another tooth cos I'm fed up of that now. This is how the first 2 started out and then they only popped out a month later....

we are back to the GI specialist on Monday. I am not sure if he is still reacting to the milk. we may need to change to the basic formula only made of amino acids. will see what he says

libra congrats on the yoomi comp! oh I must go back and look at photos...I missed on those...

dh and i are not good. busy looking for marriage counsellor. I'm losing sleep over this....It takes me almost 3 hours to fall asleep each night and with Matt sleeping badly too I am hardly getting any rest. I am contemplating doubling my anti-depressants. DH is going to the doctor tomorrow about his non existent libido and to see if he must change his anti-depressants. I will give it time with him but if I dont feel better in a few weeks I will speak to the doctor about increasing mine.

must still go get my referral and see the gynae for bladder thing....

ok girls...going to look for my spa hotel that my friend and I are planning to escape to while we leave the babies with daddy....

Tazzy and rakker i can relate so well to you both. I also have no patience with sulaiman who doesn't listen to me at all. I feel like im out of control as well. At least my finances are good at the moment. I am up at 5am every day and get to bed around 11pm. I haven't eaten dinner yet and its getting to 11pm again tonight. My mom will be in hospital for a few days still. On sunday i won't have any help at all with my dad, but im getting used to shit nappy's. Someone was talking about wine... I need something way stronger than that.

Rakker - I think we're in the same boat. I really don't feel depressed or sad about anything but I just feel like I could easily lose control. And like you said I'm on the edge all the time. I'm also always rushing my poor little 3yr old. And the same as you I'm also screaming if she doesn't get in the car by the time I've buckled up the baby.
Its not fair on them, she's only 3 and I should have more patience with her. That is why I need help!

I'm VERY VERY sleep deprived! Words cannot explain how tired my body is. But strangely enough I can't seem to fall asleep in a hurry. Can't sleep at all during the day, because my mind is so active. And I struggle to get to sleep at night.

What is the easiest solution to this? Sleep, medication, or wine? :)

Tazzy, I also have that "Not normal" feeling  . It's like it's all just getting too much. Kids, work, finances, etc. And there is just NO TIME for anything. And I think this is part of the problem. Yesterday I told DH that I my body, mind and spirit are just so exhausted. And I hate taking this out on my kids. But heck, I can scream and shout if he doesn't immediately get into the car or put his stuff away or stop whining etc. etc.

So, I am walking around with this card of our company's wellness programme in my jacket pocket and must just make that call. I just need to verbalize my issues to someone, that's all. I don't feel depressed though, but just on the edge of losing control.

Shew, I already feel better.

Back to you, Tazzy... Are you also sleep deprived like me? I think that makes things worse. Stress at work? Big problem here. Hopefully your finances look better than mine...
