Thanks Meags - its not like its the most comfortable thing to these days. I think I'm giving myself 2 more weeks and then that's it til the baby is born.

Lucy - I know how you feel. Amelia wriggles around like crazy. Its starting to feel wrong. But shew, still another 7 and a bit weeks til she's born

Tazzy sperm can soften the cervix but usually only closer to term when the cervix is more favourable.
I read somewhere that from around 34 weeks you could start using condoms to prevent this and also to prevent any infections in the amniotic fluid.

Thanks Meags and Tazzy - I am not convinced on the round ligament pain as I have had that a bit. It often comes whilst sleeping so not the same as the sudden movement pain. It usually lasts for hours too. Did not think of a bladder infection! I'll try some citro soda.

Tazzy - I worried about Tessa too and I had the distinct impression last night that she was NOT happy. The way she was moving and then kind of seemed to move in deep, to protect herself.
I am not sure about sex. Gynae has not told me to hold off. I know Meags said that sperm can soften the cervix but I assume that is only right at the end! Maybe some of the other brainiacs can help!!

When is it advisable to stop doing the deed? I've heard it can induce labour, is that true?

Lucy - has the pain gone now? I would also just try taking some citro soda/alka fizz. There's no harm in trying it.
I also get aches every few weeks. It gets so bad that I have to lie down for a few hours. Mine feel like period cramps. And then once its gone I'm okay for a few weeks. I wish I could take sneak peaks to see what baby is up to when these cramps happen!

Lucy is it not maybe the round ligament pain?? I have heard it can be quite sore and gynae's usually recommend a couple of Panado's and rest?! one usually gets it when the uterus is growing or from a sudden movement.
shame it sounds so painful!!!! is it definitely not a bladder infection?

Rakker - Those pics are awesome. I should imagine being in that much snow could get down after a while AND being with inlaws continuously is draining! I can't do more than 4 days!!

Meags - If you have had green for a few days I am not convinced augmentin will work anyway so I'd also talk to gynae. Hope it comes right soon, shame man.
Yes this is definately not BH as I got it early 6, 7, 9, 17, 23 and 27weeks. I do get BH and this is different. It burns like period pain but is not just by the ovaries, it also goes under the belly. Not sure what it is. I did mention it in the beginning to the gynae and he didn't think it was too much of a problem if it didn't come back. But my next check up is 17 Jan so i'll definately mention it again. Sure the man thinks I am a hypercondriac!!
