Hi Ladies

Joli-oh yes draw her a contract and rate her evry month as sometimes it frustrates to pay someone who is not doing a good joy.

Meags-I so love it when people treat me like a queen, lets enjoy and cherish this moment and it is wonderful to see that there are people who still honour pregnant women

Kimika-That's bad,so sorry. My next appointment with my gynae is 3 January 2011 and I will be 27 weeks.

Mistymom-most mommies are on leave.I also can't wait as I will be also entering my 3rd trimester woohoooo.

MERRY CHRISTMAS LADIES

Hi girls!!

Argh its so frustrating :( Last month Vodacom did that whole thing where they *accidentally* deleted my account.. now because of that they have put my account under rehabilitation, which means for the next 6 months they wont allow me to add data to my 3g bundle, or upgrade my account thats due end of themonth :( Im so upset with them but they say they cant change it on the system.

So Ill chat again tomorrow evening when we are back home so I can go on the adsl, its just too espensive on the 3g when the bundle is depleted.

Hope you are all still doing well.. missing you xxx

Hello Again :-). OK so today was just crazy again - stayed at home the whole day with the 3 kids and Baby B (who is very active so by the way :-)). Done some editing, a whole lot of cleaning, made some table decor with the kids, forgot to give them lunch - so they only got lunch after 15h00  ! I was so pissed off with my maid - seriously - I keep asking her to do the same stuff over and over and over. I know the house is quite big and the kids are around etc. etc. etc., but I'm sure she can at least try to do what I'm asking her. Today I opened the one cupboard in the play room and everything was just chucked in there - educational toys, headache tablets, sheets, crayons etc. etc. And I've asked her more than once to pls keep the toys together that should be together and to get the kids to play with one thing and then to pack it away and then I found a whole of stuff like newspaper ads, blades (!!) etc. chucked into the kids bedroom drawers. Chucking things into cupboards does not mean you've cleaned! Or maybe I'm unreasonable, I don't know, but hopefully next year I can work from home so I can keep an eye. I've explained to her before that I really do not have time to do it myself - I'm working 2 jobs and that's what we are paying her for. Seriously next year I'm giving her a new contract - and her bonus will depend on what she's doing during the year. We are paying her a 13th chq each December (something I'm not even getting!).

Meags - I also don't like staying with family, even if they are nice. Much better to have your own space, but at least it's not for long. Don't worry about the moving. Sometimes babies go quiet for a day or so. As long as you feel little movement it's OK. He will soon be kicking up a storm again :-).

Well I've bough the HB book, but I think I've read like 20 pages. I just don't get time to read it. Well if you are gonna go natural, you might as well try to go without pain relieve. I never took anything with the girls and I prefer it that way. I like to be in control and to know what's happening with my body. Some pain relieve can have a negative effect so I'll rather stay clear. The main thing is to try and stay focused on the birth. I know for some ladies the actual labour pains are the worst, but for me that's OK - I can handle the labour pains up to the point where I have to push - so I need to get over the fear of that part. With Megan I didn't even realized I was in labour and then when I got my 1st real contraction, they were immediately 5 minutes apart and she was born 3 hours later. But her birth was a bit more hectic than Kayla's as I knew what to expect he he.

Wish people would let me in front of the que! I just get funny looks as I'm very short and when I don't wear make-up I look like a pregnant teenager, so ya. Nevermind when I take the 3 kids with me!

Meags - LOL on the bibs - shame maybe their mom just don't want their clothes dirty.........but ya the things some people do are really weird.

oh yes EmsMom I have to tell you!!

I think because I look like I'm about to pop, everyone at the shops and airports feels so sorry for me!!

The queues at the airport were a nightmare coming from Switzerland to France due to all the snow and flight cancellations. So we stood in the check in queue for AGES. Eventually a man told me I can go infront of him and he even asked the man infront of him if I could go before him too!!!

Then I had to take off my boots to go through the X-ray machine. Well on the other side, the X-ray lady was shouting at some guy who's bag was on a chair telling him to move his stuff so I can sit and get my shoes back on!! hahaha

At till points people always tell me to go before them. It really is quite amusing but I take full advantage!

EmsMom - I did the hynobirthing course already with Nef. I think it takes a lot of 'spirituality' and depth that I cant seem to work with. I have tried...and I will keep trying...but I'm not sure it'll work for me.

Schatsie - I want to have my baby in a bath and not lying flat on my back. I also want to rather have a midwife than a gynae. So considering all this - i'd rather give birth at a birth centre than a hospital. however, the birth centre offers no pain relief!

as for the french. what a lunch...
I'm actually feeling quite depressed after it! Just seeing the way they are, I don't want to bring up my family like them (I know I dont have to...)
When my DH eats crisps, he always crunches them with his mouth open and I always shout at him to chew with his mouth closed. Well - today I saw why he does this. His whole family does it!!! We were brought up with very strict rules and manners and they have none and it annoys me.
His nephew...well not to be mean (although this cant come across any other way!!) is really not cute at all and I am going to be so sad if Matthieu even resembles him at all!!!!! He s 6 years old and his sister 4 years old and they still eat with bibs on?! Surely by this age kids don't wear bibs? or am I wrong??

They are really simple, and that's fine, but I am use to my family and the way we do things. I feel bad that I already wish I could go home :( and I'm already so grateful we are only coming to France once next year instead of twice like we usually do - but I dont want to come for 2 weeks. It's just too long!!!

I would much rather stay in a hotel. At least we have a bit more freedom. But there is no way DH would even consider that since there is more than enough space for us to stay at his mom's place.

Sorry for all the complaining...I am just so not looking forward to actually having to bring my kids here and spend 2 weeks with his family. You know, they are actually really nice and they really do everything to make me feel welcome etc etc etc. But I just don't enjoy being here!

Hmm Meags I was in France with friends a few years ago and found the French men to be rather chauvinist - that might explain your husband's attitude of going out so late partying without you, his attitude towards you, etc....

Futhermore I also had the problem where I understood only basic French and was surrounded by French speaking people who mostly made no effort to speak English to include me in the conversation, so I felt like a lost fart too!! Whenever I have people from other countries visiting me/my family, we all speak English to include them, so I found the French very rude!

Why are you not going to have any pain relief?!
